THE EYE OF THE ELK IS UPON ME
Despite most of Friday and Saturday being lost days my Spirits were lifted by warmer weather now temporarily upon us and due to the fact it was not raining Sunday morning Pheebs and I hit the road again looking for some new photos for tonight's post.
Near Dungannon Ontario Pheebs and I dropped around to see her Alpaca Pals.
ALL EYES WERE ON THE PHEEBS
In the next field over we spotted a few more of Pheebs old Pals she hadn’t seen for quite awhile
LAST TIME WE SAW ELK HERE WAS MAYBE 3 YEARS AGO
ON THEIR WAY TO MEET THE PHEEBS
Also in the same field as the Elk were about half a dozen Llamas.
Not sure if it might have had something to do with a 'night aide' medication change last week or not but these occasional bouts of short depression somehow seem to sneak up behind me when I'm least expecting it and whallop me a good one for a few days. In those times I have no positive energy or interest to get anything done and that includes blogging, photography, or traveling anywhere, my 3 favorite hobbies. TV, reading, listening to music and sitting quietly gazing off into space is generally my lot for a few days and I have to be thankful it doesn't stretch beyond that or become a permanent thing. However my personality is such that even at the best of times it seems to always have a low depressive edge to it and I've been that way for as long as I can remember. I'm not what you would call a happy-happy joyous everything's wonderfully perfect type of every day person. Sometimes I wish I was but that would be too totally unrealistic for me. So it is what is and I like many other folks cope on a daily basis with the challenges of life in a realistic way. Some of us admit our struggles with depression from time to time while others choose to put on an every day happy face and hide it. I have posted my thoughts on depression maybe half a dozen times in previous blog posts so it's not something new to me.

GROANER’S CORNER:(( Mr. Dewey was briefing his client, who was about to testify in his own defense. "You must swear to tell the complete truth. Do you understand?" The client replied that he did. The lawyer then asked, "Do you know what will happen if you don't tell the truth?" The client looked back and said, "I imagine that our side will win."

I informed my grandson that our cousin was coming to the swimming pool with us. He sighed, "Oh no. The H word." Alarmed, I inquired, "The H word?" "Yup," he answered. "Hugs!"
