| SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO'S 'HURON COUNTY MOUNTAINS' |
I did a double-take when I looked at our outside thermometer this morning. It was actually up to the freezing mark of 32F. Encouraged, I looked at the 14-day forecast. I should not have done that:((( Pheebs and I slipped into Bayfield, grabbed a coffee to go at Hortons, and ambled out southeast of Bayfield heading south on the Bronson Line. I just needed to get out of the house for a while and spend some time in the calming countryside with my best furry little Pal by my side listening to soothing ambient music. On our way home I stopped at the Bayfield carwash and gave Subie a hosing down. My afternoon consisted of shoveling snow, doing laundry, and gathering paperwork together for income tax time. The only photos I took today were two fellas ice fishing and the rest are from Saturday morning's drive northeast of our Park.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( An American and a Japanese were sitting on the plane on the way to LA When the American turned to the Japanese and asked, "What kind of -ese are you?" The Japanese confused, replied, "Sorry but I don't understand what you mean." The American repeated, "What kind of -ese are you?" Again, the Japanese was confused over he question. The American, now irritated, then yelled, "What kind of -ese are you.... Are you a Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese!, etc......??? " The Japanese then replied, "Oh, I am a Japanese." A while later the Japanese turned to the American and asked What kind Of 'key' was he. The American, frustrated, yelled, "What do you mean what kind of -kee'am I?!" The Japanese said, "Are you a Yankee, donkee, or monkee?"---------------------------------------

Two drunks are walking along. One drunk says to the other, "What a beautiful night. Look at that moon!" The other drunk stops and looks at his drunk friend. "You are wrong. That's not the moon; that's the sun!" Both continued arguing for a while when they came upon another drunk walking along. So they stopped him and said, "Sir, could you please help settle our argument? Tell us what that thing is up in the sky that's shining. Is it the moon or the sun?" The third drunk looked at the sky and then looked at them and said, "Sorry, I don't live around here."

I would love to live in the log cabin by the river, with the dog and cat and beautiful flowers - it looks so peaceful.....
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of snow. Thanks for getting that car in the photo to show the scale of the "snow mountain". Holy Hannah! That old abandoned farmhouse...hope somebody drained the water lines and hot water tank inside there...wonder what story that empty house can tell. Probably a sad one. Love the photos of Kelly with Motormouse and Pheebs...so nice! Barb M.
ReplyDeleteWow on that size of snow drift. You said it snowed a lot in your area, but that is epic!
ReplyDeleteLOL to Bert and his fishing buddy. I can't even fathom that much snow - wow! Love the full RV seat pics, so cute :-)) Great pics of all the doggies.
ReplyDeleteAl, you got me with the snow covered mountains! I feel for all of you trying to get through winter with so much snow. These walls of snow remind me of our 2023 Snowmaggedon! Take care and be safe.
