I didn't feel up to writing anything today but I will leave you with a couple of songs this evening from Hagood Hardy. Wintertime and Travelin' On. These songs remind me of Kelly and our life together. I'm hoping to be back into blog mode in a few days.
Take your time AL its not easy but knowing the blog is therapeutic for you, and I’m sure our beloved Kelly would want you to be busy. She was a beautiful soul. Love from Arizona.
ReplyDeleteSuch emotions & memories certain songs bring to us. Some of "our" songs bring smiles, some tears. I hope you take comfort from all the years you & Kelly had together.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of Kelly... that's the way I'll remember her. I certainly understand your need to take some time away from blogging.. we'll be here waiting for your return. Hugs. Bev In Nanaimo.
ReplyDeleteKelly was definitely a free spirit wanting to share her adventures and knowledge with you and many others. She will be sadly missed by everyone here but will try to guide us from above.
ReplyDeleteKnowing the pain, you are going through at this moment, my advice is to take the time you need to start talking about it. Not everyone will know what to say and they may even come across as hurtful, but they are not. Expressing yourself as you have in the past, by Blogging will make people understand your pain and Love you shared with Kelly.
Stay Safe!

If I could take away some of your grief, I would. We all would. I recently found your blog, and I am not much of a commenter. I always feel nobody really needs my opinion anyway, but your daily photos are always a high point in everything I read. Thank you for being the genuine you.
ReplyDeleteYou expressed the thoughts of so many of us. Thank you. Be well.
DeleteAl, I am just one of thousands who are moved by the passing of Kelly, your photos, and your continued devotion to her and Pheebs. I have been following your, and other travelers for years. It always strikes me with emotion when I read of people passing that I never met, but somethow feel a connection. Maybe it's because I use to travel by RV and you guys have been kind enough to respond to my comments. I still think of Tioga George, George and many others at times like this, that I have linked to via your blog. Although this time is very difficult for you and Pheebs, I want you to know that I appreciate every blog you put out. It links me to the real world of others and their experiences (good and bad) from the comfort of my home. I know you will suvive this, we all usually do. I've been through it myself. Take your time to do what you need to do.
