Stopping at our country road walking spot this morning I was able to gather up half a dozen broken corn cobs from the recently harvested corn field. It's the same field where I gathered up so many cobs last year but this year I think the farmer sharpened up the cutting blades on his combine because there are far fewer complete corn cobs lying in the muddy field. It may be a hungry winter for our front yard Squirrels. Not one of my better days but hey, the sun was shining and the temperatures weren't freezing cold.Al's Music Box:)) The Twelfth Of Never by Johnny Mathis from his 1957 album, 'Johnny's Greatest Hits'.
GROANER'S CORNER:(( While proudly showing off his new fraternity house to friends, a college student led the way into the den. "What is the big brass gong and hammer for?" one of his friends asked. "That's the talking clock", the man replied, with a grin. "Let me show you how it works!" And with that, he gave the gong an ear-shattering pound with the hammer. Suddenly someone screamed from the other side of the wall, "KNOCK IT OFF, YOU IDIOT! IT'S 2 AM!"

- Why are educated people so hot? Cause they got more degrees.
- Men love fixing things......Except themselves.
- After a quarrel, a wife said to her husband, "You know, I was a fool when I married you." The husband replied, "Yes, dear, but I was in love and didn't notice it."
- Family is important because they’re the only people who know what you’ve been through, and that’s because they caused half of it.
Diner: "These oysters are very small."
Waiter: "I suppose, sir."
Diner: "And they don't look very fresh."
Waiter: "Then I suppose it's a good thing they're very small, isn't it, sir?"
