HOW NICE TO SEE CLEAR BLUE SKIES THIS MORNING |
I think it was the first morning we woke up with temperatures slightly below the freezing mark. But, no matter....the Sun was shining and for the month of November, sunshine is always a magic elixir. It was a quiet Sunday morning Jeep ride into and around Bayfield for Pheebs and I but despite the lovely sunshine, we weren't long in heading home again. I spent much of the day in the warm comfort of our house enjoying the day through our big sunny sunroom windows. With the low southern angle of the Sun, I can stretch out in my recliner and enjoy reading while basking in warm sunshine. And, it's a nice way to watch all the birds too. But, if I had my druthers, I would still sooner be tipped back in my gravity chair sitting outside of one of our RVs basking in the warming rays of the Arizona and California sunshine.

IT WAS THE COLORFUL CHAIRS SITTING IN THE SUNLIGHT THAT CAUGHT MY EYE |
Feeling a bit better the last few days, Kelly busied herself in the kitchen today baking a batch of yummy shortbread cookies. She also whooped up some mouth-watering cinnamon buns as well. Of course, my role in all this was the head sampler and sometimes the head sampler needs additional samples:)) |
DARK EYED JUNCO |
Kelly was able to get the greasy mustard and ketchup stain out of my beige pants from yesterday's stop at A&W. (I think she had to use sandpaper:)) That stain, by the way, was not the burger's fault it was mine. You would think by the age of 79 I would have enough common sense to place a napkin on my lap. However, I have often been a little short on the 'common sense' side of things at times. And besides......I'm a man and men don't put nappies on their lapies!!

WE STILL HAVE COLORED LEAVES IN OUR FRONT YARD |
Al's Music Box:)) Something ....."Something" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1969 album Abbey Road. It was written by George Harrison, the band's lead guitarist. Together with his second contribution to Abbey Road, "Here Comes The Sun", it is widely viewed by music historians as having marked Harrison's ascendancy as a composer to the level of the Beatles' principal songwriters, John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A man goes to see the dentist and asks "How much to pull two wisdom teeth?" Dentist says "$100.00." Man says, "too much. Can't you do it for less?" Dentist says "I can do it for $50 if I cut out the novocaine." Man says, "that's better but still too much. Can't we do it any cheaper?" Dentist says, "I could let my trainee do it for $20 but she has never pulled a tooth before and it would be quite painful." Man says, "That's great. Schedule my wife for next Tuesday."-------------------------------------
What do you get when you cross a pig and a centipede? Bacon and legs.

Picking up this tiny piece of paper would take 2 seconds...But instead, I'm going to run it over 100 times with my vacuum at different angles.

It great to know that Kelly has been feeling a bit better! Stay warm and enjoy her baking,-Mary
