Clear sunny skies this morning as I drove Scooter to the Bayfield Garage for its safety check. Kelly and Pheebs followed in the Subaru, picking me up and we returned home. Fired up the Jeep and headed for the carwash in Bayfield. I could have washed the Jeep at home but decided to forego the twisting and bending for my already aggravated hip. From the carwash Pheebs and I headed out southeast of Bayfield to Pavillion Road where we took ourselves for a short walk.

At 10:45 a.m. we all piled into the Subaru and headed for London's Victoria Hospital via our new Highbury Ave route. On the way to London, our sunny skies gave way to darkening skies. Dropping Kelly off at the hospital Pheebs and I made our way over to the Westminster Ponds nature area. Less than ten minutes on the trail I felt the first raindrops and we turned around and hastily headed back to the car. We made it in time not to get soaked and for the next hour and a half I did a lot of reading while Pheebs did a lot of snoozing. Luckily, Kelly's plasmapheresis treatment wrapped up earlier than usual and my cell phone rang at 2:05 with Kelly on the other end saying she was ready to go.

After picking up Kelly we headed for home with our first stop being Tim Hortons just east of the hospital for a couple coffees and snacks to go. It rained fairly hard from there to almost three-quarters of the way home before easing off. Ten minutes after arriving home we were bathed in brilliant sunshine.

Kelly's plasmapheresis procedure today was the last one of her scheduled treatments.....and now we wait. If the terrible itching worsens, Kelly will have to resume the treatments possibly two or three times a week again. In less than a month she will meet with the London Health Sciences Hospital Liver Transplant Committee and will find out if she will be accepted for a liver transplant. Some very major decisions coming up.
Al's Music Box:)) Somewhere Down That Crazy River by Robbie Robertson from the album 'Robbie Robertson'. 1987 A favorite song of mine from the summer of 1988.
GROANER'S CORNER:(( So I walked into this bar and heard two girls speaking in what sounded like a lovely Scottish accent. I said: So, are you two girls from Scotland? One of them said: "Wales Idiot!" So I said: "Oh, I am terribly sorry about that. So, are you two Whales from Scotland?" That's the last thing I remember.----------------------------------
-Why was the lumberjack at the computer? He wanted to log in.
- What does a tree say to an axe? I'm falling for you.
- Why did the axe go to school? To become a little sharper.- What's the difference between being a lumberjack and any other job? You get the axe when you’re hired not fired.
- I was really disappointed when the axe I bought to climb trees with ended up being useless. It was a total anti-climb axe.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane - I love me some Robbie Robertson. Hoping for improvement for Kelly.
