NOT FEELING TOO BLABBERY TONIGHT

Morning's air was still cool and with a breeze coming in across the chilly waters of Lake Huron I had to button up my jacket on our morning walk.  No matter, we had sunshine:))  I puttered around with a lot of yard work things today and tuckered myself out.  I'm not feeling too blabbery tonight so I'll leave all of you fine folks with a few photos from the day................

'HEY, WHO SAID THAT OVER THERE'
OUR RED BUD TREE IS IN BLOOM BUT IT IS NOT AS FULL AND COLORFUL AS PREVIOUS YEARS
OUR BACKYARD LILACS ARE IN BLOOM AS WELL
 RAINDROPS ON OUR HOSTA LEAVES
I DON'T KNOW THE NAME OF THIS BIRD BUT I THINK IT IS SAFE TO SAY IT IS A FEMALE
WE HAVE TWO TULIPS AND ONE IS ORANGE AND ONE IS WHITE
WE HAVE A LOT OF NEW FERNS THIS YEAR
THESE ARE CHERRY BLOSSOMS IN OUR FRONT YARD BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF A CHERRY TREE IT IS
 OUR PARK'S MAILROOM
KITTY CORNER FROM OUR MAIL ROOM ARE MORE FLOWERS:))
Al's Music Box:(( Everyone's Gone To The Moon by Jonathan King from the album 'Or Then Again'.  1965

THIS RECENTLY SEEDED BROWN EARTH FIELD WILL SOON BE ALL GREEN
GROANER'S CORNER:(( On a recent flight I was on, this elderly woman kept peering out the window.  Since it was totally dark, all she could see was the blinking wing-tip light.  Finally, she rang for the flight attendant.  "I'm sorry to bother you," she said, "but I think you should inform the pilot that his left-turn indicator is on and has been for some time."

- What do you get when you cross a Buddhist and a Druid? Someone who worships the tree that is not there.

- A child comes home from his first day at school.  His Mother asks, "Well, what did you learn today?"  The kid replies, "Not enough. They want me to come back tomorrow."

  2. Al, the photos of the blooms are absolutely magnificent. Loved the Lilacs, mine are a little late budding out, thinking maybe the 12 feet of snow slowed them down this year. :))

  3. Al, there is something extra special/artistic about the big metal bird with it's wings outstretched & that big flowing plant. I think it's all the layers of metal feathers & all the layers of plant leaves. Don't think you ever photographed it before & I can't stop admiring it. Excellent eye.! as always. You capture so much beauty. Thanks for your lovely gift to your readers.!

  4. Al, your photos today were so great! 😊 I don't think I've ever seen sheep or alpacas in your shots before, and I enjoyed them. Also that shot of the Dalmation with the cherry tree in bloom was super nice. You've got a very lovely "neck of the woods" and I'm glad you and Pheebs can get out and enjoy it most days. Take a *big* smell of those lilacs for me - I love them and can't grow them here, 😞
