NO PROBLEM KID, I DO IT ALL THE TIME

A RAINY DAY MORNING AT BAYFIELD'S BEACH ON THE SHORES OF LAKE HURON
Our overnight rain waited until this morning before moving in sometime around 9 a.m.  Pheebs and I drove into and around Bayfield before heading home again.  Swapping out the Jeep for the Subaru, Kelly and I headed for Renegade's Diner at the south end of Bayfield.  Pheebs stayed home.  Just about the same time we arrived there, Gayle and Richard rolled in and we all headed inside through a few raindrops for a pre-arranged breakfast get-together.  Unfortunately, we didn't pick the right table because right near us sat two adults and five very noisy young kids.  Needless to say, conversation was limited for us with the background shrieks, squeals, and screams.  Not nice for older ears.  Breakfast was good as well as the conversation.  Well, as good as lip reading can be in a noisy environment that is.  Upon leaving Renegades in a pouring rain later, Kelly and I headed to a place called Archies on Bayfield's Main Street.  I had been kinda thinking about a new hat for quite a while to replace my old summer Breezer hat I had bought on February 8th, 2015 in Kelso California.  You can read about that day here at Kelso Sand. Dunes & A New Hat.  Kelly had been into 'Archies' on Saturday browsing around and saw that they had the type of hat I generally wear so that is how we ended up there.  It took me a bit of looking but by golly, I did find myself a suitable summer hat.  Maybe not quite perfect but it's close enough for this craggy old head of mine.  You know me, I'm not a perfectionist.  And, it was on sale for only $19.95.  When's the last time you ever saw that kind of a price for anything eh??  I'd like a couple JubJub candies, please.  Okay kid, $19.95.  Could I have a Tootsie Roll with that?  Sure kid, $19.95.  Oh, a can of coke and a shoelace too, please.  Yep, that'll be $19.95 for the Coke and $19.95 for the shoelace.  Will that be all kid?  No, I changed my mind about the shoelace.  Okay, I'll give you a $9.95 refund on the shoelace.  Thank you Mister.  And, with the $19.95 restocking fee on the shoelace, your total comes to $89.80.  How would you like to pay for that Sonny?  My dad's credit card Sir.  Do you have the credit card with you?  No Sir, I lost it when I came into the store.  No problem, for a $19.95 finder's fee I will help you find it.  Gee Mister that would be mighty swell of you.  Okay let me see here, ah yes, your total now is $109.75.  Thanks again Mister.  No problem kid, I do it all the time............

MY NEW HAT AND YES, THIS IS MY VERY BEST ATTEMPT AT A SMILE

SPOTTED THIS LITTLE CHAP ON A GODERICH ROOF THIS MORNING
GROANER'S CORNER:(( This guy arrives at the Pearly Gates. He has to wait to be admitted, while St. Pete leafs through his Big Book.  He's checking to see if the guy is worthy of entry or not. Saint Peter goes through the books several times, furrows his brow, and says to the guy, "You know, I can't see that you did lots of good in your life but, you never did anything bad either.  Tell you what, if you can tell me of one REALLY good deed that you did in your life, you're in."  The guy thinks for a moment and says, "Well, there was this one time when I was drivin' down the highway and I saw a Biker Gang assaulting this poor girl. I slowed down my car to see what was going on, and sure enough, that's what they were doing. There were about 50 of 'em torturing this chick.  Infuriated, I got out my car, grabbed a tire iron from my trunk and walked straight up to the leader of the gang. He was a huge guy with a studded leather jacket and a chain running from his nose to his ear. As I walked up to the leader, the Gang formed a circle all around me.  So I ripped the leader's chain off his face and smashed him over the head with the tire iron. Then I turned around and yelled to the rest of them, 'Leave this poor, innocent girl alone, you slime! You're all a bunch of sick, deranged animals! Go home before I teach you all a lesson in pain!'"  St. Peter, extremely impressed, says, "Really? Wow, when did all this happen?"  "Umm.. about two minutes ago."
