WIND, RAIN, SUNSHINE AND CLOUDS

It was a cold, wet, windy, and sometimes sunny start to our day.  A prelude to late October and Novemberesque days to come.  No walks this morning so Pheebs and I Jeeped ourselves into and around Bayfield looking for a few photos for tonight's post.  Spent much of the afternoon cleaning up our wooden shed.  And so went another day here on Planet Earth...........

LAKE HURON WAS ANGRY THIS MORNING
SOME PEOPLE ENJOY THE ANGRY WATER

SO I'M IN THE JEEP DRESSED IN MY PRE-WINTER GEAR AND THESE GUYS ARE OUT THERE IN THE COLD WATER AND WALKING AROUND IN BARE FEET
LOOKS LIKE A NEW STRUCTURE GOING UP ON BAYFIELD'S MAIN STREET
BAYFIELD'S MAIN STREET IS A BUSY PLACE
THERE ARE A LOT OF NICE HOMES AND PROPERTIES IN BAYFIELD

 CLAN GREGOR SQUARE
GROANER'S CORNER:(( Little Johnny's mother was trying hard to get the catsup to come out of the bottle. During her struggle, the phone rang so she asked four-year-old Johnny to answer the phone.  Little Johnny ran out into the living room and answered the phone. "Mommy, It's the minister," he said to his mother.  From the kitchen Johnny's mom said, "Tell him I'll call him back."  Little Johnny spoke into the phone saying, "Mommy can't come to the phone to talk to you right now. She's hitting the bottle."

Teacher: "What is the chemical formula for water?"

Student: "HIJKLMNO."
Teacher: "What are you talking about?"
Student: "Yesterday you said it's H to O!"

  2. Those are maples, right? With the lovely red. Ah. Autumn up in those parts can be so beautiful. I had the privilege for a few years a long time ago. Meanwhile, ever worn a wet suit? They are warm. Really. I had once when I was much younger for wild swimming in lakes/ponds down here during winter. (They don't freeze over much.)

  3. Bayfield seems like such a peaceful place where homeowners take real pride in their properties. Love the first touches of autumn photos.
