Spring is busting out all over the place. The long and grueling Winter's ordeal is finally behind us now as our landscape rapidly turns into its many shades of Spring green. Warm air, sunshine, blue skies, and songbirds warbling in the treetops. Clouds of dust whirl out of rural fields where farmers are busily working the land. Bees are buzzing, hummingbirds are humming, geese are honking, and ducks are quacking. Ahhhhh yes, Spring:))))))
HEADING OUT OF OUR PARK THIS MORNING YOU CAN SEE HOW OUR TREES HAVE SUDDENLY LEAFED OUT |
FARMERS WERE BUSY ON THE LAND TODAY |
I ALWAYS ENJOY SEEING THE PATTERNS CREATED IN THE FIELDS AT THIS TIME OF YEAR WHEN PLANTING IS IN FULL SWING |
GREEN IS DEFINITELY THE COLOR OF SPRING |

THIS IS A PART OF THE ERODED SHORELINE THAT HAS BEEN FORTIFIED WITH ROCKS AND BOULDERS |
THIS IS WHERE GODERICH'S WASTEWATER HAS BEEN TREATED AND IS RECYCLED BACK INTO THE LAKE |
IF THE BANK IS NOT FORTIFIED THIS IS THE KIND OF EROSION THAT HAPPENS |
I THINK IT IS SAFT TO SAY THAT THIS IS A WASHED UP DINOSAUR LEG BONE |
CORMORANT |
Our weather has been warm enough for me to be using my fans. Today, the A/C words were spoken for the first time, and with 82F predicted for Thursday we just might be in for some cooler air in the house for sure. Oh, by the way, it was Kelly who mentioned 'Air Conditioning' and not me. Bet ya never saw that one coming eh.

BACK AT OUR PARK |
TAKING A SHORTCUT HOME |
We have a little Chipmunk coming into the house and raiding the tall birdseed container in our kitchen. Years ago, Checkers, our black and white border collie went through our rear patio screen door in pursuit of a raccoon, but we never bothered getting the screen fixed because it's so easy for Pheebs to go in and out without opening the screen door. Well, this little smartypants Chipmunk this year has figured that out and it's not unusual to be watching TV now and see a little Chippy go zooming across the living room floor either coming to or going from our birdseed stash. It doesn't bother me or Pheebs too much but Kelly's not too happy about the little fella that thinks it's the newest member of the Bayfield Bunch.

I went over to see Ellen's video. How she's grown and how talented she has become. Had me checking out some of her other videos-she's really good for a youngster! Takes after you, huh?
ReplyDeleteIt's raining in Montana this morning, no leaves on the trees, no flowers--looks like winter. I envy you your leaves! But we are welcoming the rain! Those Ella videos are amazing!! What a talented little girl! Thanks for inserting those links--the videos brought a smile to my face this morning!
ReplyDeleteThe green is really lovely! Fun to see everyone getting out to enjoy the sunshine. Glad you're feeling better so you can do the same! Definitely lucky cattle, they look healthy too. I suppose chipmunks could carry in things we don't want in our house, but I bet they're so dang cute!!
