Looking ahead at the 14-day weather forecast I figured today may be the last good day of the year so with that in mind Pheebs and I headed straightaway to our country road walking spot this morning. How nice to get some paws and boots on the ground again. With the recent crappy weather, I think it's been close to two weeks since our last enjoyable walk. With neither Kelly, Pheebs, or I getting any younger, walking exercise becomes more important for all three of us. I don't know how we're going to handle this winter, but for sure we gotta think of something......... AUTUMN BUSH LANE
I LOVE THESE ROLLING GREEN HILLS AND IN THE PHOTO BELOW WE ARE ON THE HIGHWAY HEADING FROM CLINTON TO GODERICH ENJOYING THE AUTUMN COLORS ALONG THE WAY
GROANER'S CORNER:(( "Yes, Theo, what is it?" asked the teacher. "I don’t want to alarm you, Miss Davis, but my dad said if I don't get better grades, someone was going to be in big trouble."BEECH TREE LEAVES

Don't drink anything while vacationing in the Caribbean. Especially in Jamaica. You'll get the rums.

I'm not saying I hate you, what I'm saying is that you are literally the Monday of my life.

There are still some nice days ahead Al, maybe not quite as warm but full of sunshine and hopefully little wind. Our fall colours are pretty much all gone now, browns are carpeting the ground each day as the colours fade quickly, so I'm enjoying your wonderful fall colours.
ReplyDeleteThere have been times when we've been in Montana in winter--when our daughter in law was dying--we were there until late February and when Nat died we were again there until early November as we were this year. We bought a treadmill but it simply bored both of us totally to death!! We tried to get out twice a day even if it was snowy, windy and cold--dressing in so many clothes!--was it as pleasurable as a sunny day walk, nope, but if we don't walk we don't feel good.
