I HOPE THIS STRAY CAT IN OUR PARK SOON FINDS A LOVING HOME |
Well, I'll keep it simple tonight and wrap up the whole day in one paragraph. Gloomy, took Kelly's Sunfire to Goderich this afternoon to have an exhaust hanger trap replaced and chased some storm clouds around in the rain after supper. And that's it. I do have a few photos I took Monday afternoon.
MONARCH BUTTERFLY |
I was getting ready to publish tonight's post when a fast-moving storm packing winds, thunder, lightning, and short bands of rain roared through our area about 7:15 this evening. One lightning strike was so close Kelly saw sparks in the trees. Amazingly our power was only out for maybe two seconds but other folks in our Park weren't so lucky. I'll have more storm cloud and rainbow photos from tonight's storm in Wednesday's post. I already had enough photos in tonight's post without adding a bunch more, but here's two..........
GROANER'S CORNER:(( Every time the man next door headed toward Robinson's house, Robinson knew he was coming to borrow something. "He won't get away with it this time," muttered Robinson to his wife. "Watch this." "Er, I wonder if you'd be using your power-saw this morning," the neighbor began. "Gee, I'm awfully sorry," said Robinson with a smug look, "but the fact of the matter is, I'll be using it all day."
"In that case," said the neighbor, "you won't be using your golf clubs, mind if I borrow them?"-------------------------
