I must admit it's quite a challenge each day trying to think of something remotely interesting to blog about when interesting things are not necessarily taking center stage these days. And yet, I feel compelled to daily write something. I'm not exactly sure why that is but I just know that it is. Some people may enjoy collecting stamps, others might like carving wooden ducks, while countless others find enjoyment in painting and countless other hobby-like activities. I'm fortunate that I stumbled across the blogging era when I did back in 2006. Blogging was the magic ingredient added to my interest in photography and traveling that cemented everything together and made this great pastime available to me. I often wonder, if it wasn't for blogging, just what would I be doing with myself these days at this later stage of my life. And for that question, I have no answer. CANADA GOOSE ON OUR PARK'S POND

GROANER'S CORNER:(( After a long, dry sermon, the minister announced that he wished to meet with the church board after the service. The first man to arrive was a stranger. You misunderstood my announcement. This is a meeting of the board, said the minister. I know, said the man. If there is anyone here more bored than I am, I'd like to meet him.

My doctor has advised me to stop drinking. It's going to be a massive change for me. I've been with that doctor for 15 years.

One possible answer could be photography, even though blogging certainly allows one to display their creativity and passion. Another possibility could be getting involved in a local church and do some volunteering for the less fortunate and shut-ins. I know you sort of did some volunteering at one point in your life...
