SNOOZY FACE AND I TOOK THE RIG FOR A SHORT DRIVE AROUND THE BLOCK THIS AFTERNOON |
A MILE EAST OF OUR PARK LIVES THE TULIP LANE FURRY FACE GUYS |
NOW THAT IS GETTING ONES FACE RIGHT INTO ONES BREAKFAST |
THESE HIGHLAND CATTLE PICS ARE FOR YOU DEB WAY UP THERE ON THAT MANITOULIN ISLAND PLACE |
HEADING INTO THE HULLETT MARSH'S VIEWING STAND AREA |
WE HAD TO BE VERY CAREFUL COMING UP AND ESPECIALLY GOING DOWN THESE ICY STEPS |
BUNNY TRACKS IN THE SNOW |
From the Marsh, we took the scenic route home picking up a few more photos along the way. With temps nearly back up to the freezing mark and no wind, it wasn't too bad of a morning at all.
ROADS WERE BARE AND DRY SO WE TOOK THE RIG OUT FOR A SHORT DRIVE |
Despite the cold winter air Pheebs and I did manage an afternoon walk. Footing was treacherous with a lot of ice underfoot so it was slow going in many spots.
AN ICY AREA IN OUR PARK AND YES IF YOU LOOK CAREFULLY YOU CAN SEE PHEEBS UP THERE |
=====================
Al why don't you get a pair of the ice grippers for your boots? Could prevent a fall when you are out there on your own...
ReplyDeleteYeah! Those ice gripper things are good! You've given us another lovely drive today, thank you. I do love those furry faced cows. I admire cattle anyway, and if I'd been around furry faced ones I might never have left the farm. Probably a good thing as I probably couldn't ever have sold one anyway.
ReplyDeleteHate to do this to you Al, we are camped near Ajo. Temps were a little cooler today, topping out at 66. Forecast is to be back in mid 70s next week. Wish you were here too. Take care and stay warm.
ReplyDeleteI never go out without ice grips on. My inclined drive is solid ice. A fall can be life changing Al. Those sure are furry cows.
