I realize not all my photos are clear and sharp but I still like to include some of them for reader's enjoyment. I wrote a post one time awhile back about not being a perfectionist and it does show through sometimes with my pics......

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A college pizza delivery boy arrived at the house of Mr.Smith. He delivered the pizza to his trailer. After giving it to him, Mr. Smith asked: "What is the usual tip?" "Well," replied the youth, "this is my first trip here, but the other guys say if I get a quarter out of you, I'll be doing great." "Is that so?" snorted Mr. Smith. "Well, just to show them how wrong they are, here's five dollars." "Thanks," replied the youth, "I'll put this in my school fund." "What are you studying in school?" asked Larry. The lad smiled and said: "Applied psychology."

Be sure to get a new hiding box, for next time!
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention you think your photos are not clear I was thinking the opposite. Very clear pictures especially of birds that never stand still.
ReplyDeleteyour post gave us a laugh tonight...I had to read it out loud to my husband. Our Nissan will suddenly lock the doors when you don't expect it. Glad you had a key hidden.
ReplyDeleteWonderful bird photos as usual...
Whew. Glad you got out of that one.
ReplyDelete25 F here in Tucson this morning
ReplyDeleteLove the Cardinal such a bright red
LOL! But your new magnetic Key box in the same, or you'll never find it! :)
ReplyDeleteIt rained all day and was dark here in Seattle. You were smart to have that backup key! I loved the photo of the Jay. You have some serious ice cycles on Lake Huron. I remember ice cycles when we lived in Idaho in the winter. But it took a long freezing spell and months of time. They had cold but dryer weather there.
ReplyDeleteHi Al
ReplyDeletewhen we got our our percent car I had a 'open the door only' spare key made and placed it in my wallet

Your photos never look blurry to my old 👀. 😀 That was smart of you to keep a spare key or you would have had a long walk home. Reminds me I should do that just in case too.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a hidden key. Did that to myself a few weeks back on my camper. I'm out in the middle of the desert, took the dog out for a last pee break. Knew my front doors were open, so just hit the lock on the passenger side door. It locked all the doors even the door into my Class C. Had not hidden a key, so I was very concerned about how I would get back in. Had my step ladder out side, put a 5 gallon bucket on the top step and managed to get myself in half way onto the bed, then struggled to get the rest of my fat self in that window. My ribs still hurt. I now have a key hidden outside!!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful and not blurry to me at all.
When I bought my first car, the salesman handed me two sets of keys, and said "what are you going to do with the second set?" I replied, put them someplace safe at home. He said "they won't do you any good there if you lock yourself out. This was when Chrysler products had a separate trunk key. He said, "hide the door key in the trunk, then hide the trunk key in one of the tail lights." It takes a screwdriver to remove the tail light lens, but you can't get in the car with that key.
