I used my Nikon Coolpix P900 on a tripod for those shots Stew. ISO 400 at 1/100th of sec at F5 for that first photo. Shot through our sunroom window about 10 feet to our hanging bird feeder. I also cropped the photo into a head and shoulders format.
Darlene said in Shout Box exactly what I was thinking to write. Not to worry, Al. Just a "hi" and a few pictures satisfies the need for a nightly Bayfield Fix. I hope you have a good tomorrow!
Yes to the above comments. You know the old saying, a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, some are. Yours are always worth while. In many respects. Thanks for your work.
How did you ever get that detail in the pictures of the Downy?

ReplyDeleteBeautiful woodpecker photos. I understand the lack of words. Just glad you three are doing well.
ReplyDeleteThe photos of the Downy Woodpecker are absolutely spectacular. Wanted to reach out and touch him.
ReplyDeleteThe words will flow when they are ready. Keep the faith!
No need for words my friend. Your photos are enough.
