BACK ON MY MEDS......AND I ALREADY SEEM TO BE GETTING TOO COMFORTABLE WITH STAYING INSIDE

I noticed the Trigger Point movie set in our small lakeside community of Bayfield Ontario was gone this morning when Pheebs and I cruised leisurely down the town's wide and now inactive main street.  The only thing left were a number of large white trucks with lights on and engines idling parked around Bayfield's Clan Gregor Square.  Drivers were milling about and climbing into driver's seats.  I expect the trucks and trailers loaded with all sorts of movie-making equipment were about to form a convoy and make their way back from whence they had come a short week ago.  And I'm guessing that place to be Toronto.

BAYFIELD'S MAIN STREET IS BACK TO NORMAL
THE MOVIE SET IS ALSO BACK TO NORMAL
BIG TRUCKS READY TO PULL OUT

EVEN THE TWO BIG MOTORHOMES ARE READY TO ROLL
Sunny breaks and a cold wind with temps in the low to mid 30's made up our morning.  Again, it was a short Jeep ride as I struggled with my interest and enthusiasm.  I seem to be getting too comfortable with staying inside where it's warm.  Its not only Pheebs who seems to slowly be losing interest in our morning Jeep rides.  Oh, and it was 18 years ago tonight we moved into our Bayfield digs here:))

SOON THAT ORANGE MACHINE ON THE BARGE WILL BE DISMANTLING ALL THE MANY BOAT DOCKS LIKE THE ONES IN THE FOREGROUND
I DIDN'T SEE A SINGLE BOAT LEFT IN THE WATER
OUR AREAS CORN HARVEST IS IN FULL SWING

I BET HER PALS CALL HER 'SKUNKY'

With the exception of very stiff legs from not taking my arthritis Arthrotec pills, I didn't notice much difference in myself after stopping all my meds nearly two weeks ago.  Thinking maybe all those meds were leading to this overwhelming tiredness of mine I've come to the conclusion it's not the pills.  In fact, I seem to be even more mentally and physically tired than I was before.  Therefore, I have resumed taking my meds.  Most of my day again was spent reading and snoozing by our warm fireplace in my sunroom recliner.  It is turning out to be my most favorite place to be.
AND JUST DOWN THE ROAD FROM OUR PARK I CAME ACROSS THESE CANADA GEESE

I tried to talk myself into grabbing my camera gear and heading out into the cold and grabbing a few full Moon shots on this unusually clear night.  Guess I'm not as good a salesman with myself I once was.  My talk fell on deaf ears.  Instead, from right here at my computer desk I took a photo through the window of a large domed light we have sitting in our front yard flower bed.

MY FLOWER BED FULL MOON PHOTO EVEN HAS A COUPLE CREATURES IN IT

AWWW YES, IT'S QUITE THE WAY TO CHALLENGE ONE'S MIND ALRIGHT

BUNNIES IN OUR FRONT YARD
There wasn't enough to accumulate on the ground but I could see it on some vehicle rooftops and windshields.  I'm talking about snow of course and those sightings were in Goderich this morning where streamers coming in off the lake gave the distant horizon a slightly foggy look.  The snow bits were small and hard to see but they were definitely in this morning's icy cold 34F air.  Warmer next week:))

A RARE SUNBURST ON AN ICY COLD MORNING
EVEN BEACHCOMBERS HAD TO DRESS WARM TODAY
WORK CONTINUES ON THE SHORELINE BOARDWALK
Had a few things to pick up at Walmart but after seeing the crowded Friday morning parking lot Pheebs and I just cruised in one end of the large parking area and right back out the other end.  I wasn't about to put up with all that line-up nonsense again.  I'll pop in again next week.

THE CUYAHOGA TURNING AROUND IN GODERICH'S HARBOR
THIS SHIP WAS BUILT IN 1943

STRAIGHTENED OUT IT BEGINS MOVING SIDEWAYS USING ITS UNDERWATER BOW THRUSTERS AND STERN RUDDER
THAT COULD BE THE CAPTAIN ON THE BRIDGE KEEPING AN EYE ON THE SHIP'S DOCKING
With a McDonalds coffee in hand, we slipped down around the harbor and out to Rotary Cove.  Much too cold for a walk so we didn't linger.  A large ship in the harbor was in the process of making a U-turn then aligning itself with the Goderich Elevators dock.  It was interesting watching the Cuyahoga do that.

CLOSING IN ON THE DOCK TO THE SHIP'S RIGHT
NOW DOCKED, THREE CREW MEMBERS ARE ABOUT TO GO FOR A RIDE ON A  SMALL YELLOW BOARD
HERE GOES THE FIRST GUY

THE NUMBER TWO GUY SADDLES UP
AND HERE GOES NUMBER THREE
TOUCHDOWN ON THE DOCK
We were home again about 10:30 and I didn't waste any time getting inside where it was warm and toasty.  Not only have I become more sensitive to summer's heat and humidity but I have also become more sensitive to winter's cold and damp as well.  I figure it's got to be this darn aging thing.

THE THREE CREW MEMBERS WERE PUT ASHORE TO GRASP THE SHIP'S ROPES AND CABLES TO SECURE IT TO THE DOCK
SOMEBODY ON THE BRIDGE STILL KEEPING AN EYE ON THINGS
ALSO NOTICED HALF A DOZEN CREWMEN ABOARD THE SHIP ALSO KEEPING WATCH
A WORKER ON THE DOCKS TALL GRAIN SHUTE ALSO HELPS POSITION THE SHIP

A couple posts ago I mentioned my Mother having a UFO sighting experience.  I had written about this before but a few readers wondered what that sighting was.  I don't recall the year it happened but I know where it happened.  We were living in Tavistock Ontario at 33 Hope Street East when one night (summer I think) my Mother stepped out the back door with our small dog Tiny to do his business.  While Tiny was taking care of that, my Mother, standing on a small porch glanced up at the sky.  Immediately overtop our house a large dark round object glided slowly and silently over.  I don't recall if my Mother said anything about lights and I'm guessing not because she might not have noticed it if not for the stars blinking out as the round object's movement blotted them out.  She might have indicated it was moving from east to west but I'm not sure.  What I am sure about is that she told me she saw something large and round moving over the house in the darkness that did not make a sound.  And that sighting by my Mother was the beginning of my interest in UFO's and their reality.

HERE WE ARE HEADING HOME THIS MORNING
I'm having a little trouble getting through my book Hunt For The Skinwalker at the moment.  It's never easy for me to read anything where animals are being harmed but the history of this ranch involves a number of cattle mutilations and dog deaths.  And quite frankly, how these deaths have occurred is quite bizarre.  I really have to work at keeping an open mind in how these events are linked to UFO's and Extraterrestrials.  But they are and there it is and if I want to further expand my knowledge about this subject I must try to understand, connect the dots, and tie these many loose ends together with my logically thinking normal human mind about things that totally defy human logic.  Awww yes, it's quite the way to challenge one's mind alright.

GROANER'S CORNER:((   The topic of a seventh-grade science class was Dolly, the sheep cloned in Scotland several years back.  The teacher discussed how scientists removed the nucleus from the sheep egg cell and replaced it with the nucleus from the parent cell. The students were fascinated, one in particular.  "This is amazing," he said. "I had no idea sheep laid eggs."

- What's round and bad-tempered?
A vicious circle.

Q: Did you hear about the guy they found dead with his head in his cornflakes?
A: The police thought it was a cereal killer.
