GOTTA GET MYSELF SMARTENED UP BY 3 P.M. TUESDAY....OR ELSE!!

Wasn't impressed with my Blogger program when I turned it on today.  Thought my site had been hacked when things did not look as I expected them to look.  A different page came up confusing me all over the place.  Bugs me when a site decides to upgrade or change things but fails to let users know they are doing that.  If you are going to change your format Blogger, let people know!!  'Finally', I found a button which took me back to the old Blogger format and everything was once again fine in my sometimes all too shaky little La La Land world.
A MACHINE SITS ATOP A TIPPY BARGE DREDGING BAYFIELD'S HARBOR MOUTH
AN OLD RIPPED RUBBER BOOT ON BAYFIELD'S BEACH
ONLY THE TEMPORARY BAILEY BRIDGE REMAINS NOW THAT THE OLD BAYFIELD BRIDGE HAS BEEN TOTALLY REMOVED AND THAT I THINK IS A BIG WORKING PLATFORM BARGE FLOATING UNDERNEATH
Kelly's Blackberry phone rang this afternoon and Kelly answered it saying it was for me.  What!!  Hate when that happens not knowing who's on the other end and what it is they are wanting from me.  Even Kelly was surprised at a call coming in on her Blackberry for me.  She hands me the phone and I go through a series of 'hellos' without hearing anything.  Kelly quickly grabs the phone, speaks into it and somebody on the other end obviously speaks back.  She in turn hands me back the phone.....right side up. Hate them darn smart phone thingies anyway.  Lady on the other end is laughing at my foible so now I'm really flustered.  And this of course happens about right in the middle of my Blogger debacle.  Lady gives her name saying she's calling from Goderich's Maitland Valley Health Center in regards to my well being.  Well, my well being at the moment was right out the window and I think I blubbered on about my Blogger program being askew, not being able to tie my shoes anymore, my pants have shrunk, my socks don't match, and my hat is four sizes too big for me now.  Anyway, obviously in a hurry to get off the phone she recommended my Nurse Practitioner call me Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. and said I had better have myself smartened up real good by then or else.  Oh Dear, I sure have a lot of smartening up to do between now and tomorrow at 3:((
THAT IS OUR RHODODENDRON SHRUB IN THE FOREGROUND AND WHITE MAGNOLIA IN THE BACKGROUND
Yet another cold grey windy damn damp day started our morning off again.  Getting mighty tired of this crap!!  I'm about ready to pack things up and move to Borneo....wherever that is.  Say, maybe if I play my cards right I can get my Nurse Practitioner to sign something saying I have to move to sunny warm Arizona for my health.
SPOTTED THESE SHIVERING TULIPS ON OUR COUNTRY ROAD JEEP RIDE
IF I HAD A FARM CHORE TO DO I MIGHT BE ABLE TO HANDLE THIS ONE....PICKING UP STONES
SAW THIS NICE LITTLE  CANADA GOOSE FAMILY TODAY
NOTICE HOW PAPA GOOSE KEEPS A LOOK-OUT TO THE RIGHT AND MAMA GOOSE KEEPS A LOOK-OUT TO THE LEFT OR IS THAT MAMA GOOSE LEADING AND PAPA BRINGING UP THE REAR
Noticed some full-time RV'ers are beginning to be a little concerned at the possibility of not being able to cross the border into the warmer American southland this coming winter.  Could be a real dilemma for many folks.
THESE TWO LLAMAS LOOK AFTER A SHEEP HERD JUST DOWN THE ROAD FROM OUR PARK
Because of today's icy winds our wind chill factor had to be down around or below the freezing mark so it was another short bundled up in winter clothes afternoon walk for Pheebs and I.  Had I had my druthers I would have stayed in but thanks to Pheebs we did get out around the Park's pond and beyond.  Saw a couple Ducks.
DUE TO IT'S SIZE I AM THINKING THIS IS A HAIRY WOODPECKER
ALTHOUGH HAVING SIMILAR MARKINGS HAIREYS ARE LARGER THAN DOWNY WOODPECKERS
AND I'M THINKING THIS CHAP AT THE FEEDER IS A RED BELLIED WOODPECKER
THESE TWO DIFFERENT WOODPECKERS WERE AT OUR FEEDER AT THE SAME TIME AFTER SUPPER TONIGHT
Been noticing more full-time RV'ers are having concerns about their annual winter trips across the border to America's sunny south.  Many of them do not have winterized dwellings they can stay in to tough out Canada's winter cold and RV's are generally not made to withstand freezing winter temperatures and storms.  Bit of a dilemma for those folks.  I can't help but wonder how George would have handled it.......
NO SIGN OF A FAMILY YET FOR THIS PAIR OF MALLARD DUCKS ON OUR PARK POND YET
GROANER'S CORNER:(( A Highway Patrolman waited outside a popular bar, hoping for a bust.  At closing time everyone come out and he spotted his potential quarry. The man was so obviously inebriated that he could barely walk. He stumbled around the parking lot for a few minutes, looking for his car.  After trying his keys on five other cars, he finally found his own vehicle. He sat in the car a good ten minutes, as the other patrons left. He turned his lights on, then off, wipers on, then off. He started to pull forward into the grass, then stopped. Finally, when he was the last car, he pulled out onto the road and started to drive away. The patrolman, waiting for this, turned on his lights and pulled the man over. He administered the breathalyzer test, and to his great surprise, the man blew a 0.00.  The patrolman was dumbfounded. "This equipment must be broken!" he exclaimed."I doubt it," said the man, "Tonight I am the designated decoy!"

- Are most cabbies dangerous drivers?
Like the old saying goes – nothing's certain but death in taxis.

- Did you know that 97% of the world is dumb?
Luckily I’m in the other 5%!

I fear my neighbor may be stalking me, she was googling my name last night on her computer...I saw it clearly through my binoculars!

  2. The weather is going to turn for the better...........um, when have we heard that before!!!
your goslings are about a week, maybe two older than ours. What a difference! They grow so fast.
For us, if the borders are open, we're gone. If not, well, yes we are struggling with options as there are not many acceptable ones.

  3. We're freeing up at least 1 spot here in BC for those folks who can't go south. Definitely doable in a summer RV - that's what we have -- here in southern BC. I can only assume spots will be gobbled up fast this year in preparation of the fall. By fall, there won't be anything left....

  6. You should be able to get lots of brain exercises done by Tuesday :-))) Wish we were still having some cold days - at least our nights are nice and cool. Love the darling goslings, the sweetest signs of warmer temps on their way.
