FUTURE DREAMS IN THE COVID ERA.....NOT ONLY NECESSARY BUT MENTALLY HEALTHY TOO

Sleeping on the older Class C RV decision Tuesday night we both woke up to the same conclusive decision Wednesday morning.  We will pass on the 86 Holidaire but keep our eyes open just in case something else pops up.  We know with the uncertain future ahead it's maybe not the time to still be thinking of another RV but we're not dead just yet and we're not going to let this Covid thing paralyze our minds with fearful inactivity.  I think right now a few dreams for the future are not only a healthy thing but a necessary thing as well.  Thanks to you folks who expressed your thoughts and ideas about the Class C Hoidaire.  Your thoughts are always appreciated here at the Bunch.
An icy cold wind with 32F temps this morning kept Pheebs and I in the Jeep with the heater going for the most part.  Only one short roadside stop and we were back in the Jeep again.  Things looked pretty normal in Goderich.  No line-ups at Food Basics, a routine gas stop and coffee to go at McDonalds.  Seemed like there was a bit more traffic moving around this morning as well.  Sliding out northeast of Goderich we took a slow leisurely drive through the countryside home.

THESE TWO LLAMAS DON'T SEEM TO BE BOTHERED BY THAT LONG 45' TUBE SNAKE:))
Had one shed left to re-organize and lay a good Spring cleaning on so figured today was the day for that.  We sure have accumulated a lot of junk over the years.  I had our burning barrel red hot this afternoon and what I should really do is load up the utility trailer with stuff and haul it off to the landfill site over near Homesville.
CAME ACROSS WHAT I FIRST THOUGHT WAS ONTARIO'S LOCH NESS MONSTER
NOPE, I THINK THIS IS A CORMORANT AND I HAD A FEELING HE WAS GETTING READY TO FLIP FLAP AND FLY
WELL HE CERTAINLY DID SOME FLIPPING AND FLAPPING
BUT HE NEVER DID FLY
JUST SWAM PEACEFULLY AWAY
GROANER'S CORNER:(( Lost on a rainy night, a nun stumbles across a monastery and requests shelter there. Fortunately, she's just in time for dinner and was treated to the best fish and chips she's ever had. After dinner, she goes into the kitchen to thank the chefs. She is met by two brothers, "Hello, I'm Brother Michael, and this is Brother Charles." "I'm very pleased to meet you. I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful dinner. The fish and chips were the best I've ever tasted. Out of curiosity, who cooked what?" Brother Charles replied, "Well, I'm the fish friar." She turns the other brother and says, "Then you must be...?" "Yes, I'm the chip monk."

What do you call a belt made out of hundred dollar bills? A waist of money.

While driving in Pennsylvania, a family caught up to an Amish carriage.  The owner of the carriage obviously had a sense of humor because attached to the back of the carriage was a hand-painted sign that read, "Energy efficient vehicle. Runs on oats and grass. CAUTION: Do not step on exhaust."

  1. You're so correct about planning for the future. We had plans to depart next week for six weeks on the road. Cancelled!! We also have plans to be on the road for eight weeks, beginning the end of July. Only the Government is going to stop us, as we aren't getting any younger.

  2. You've gotta keep your dreams, that's what keeps us going. fwiw I think you're wise to have passed on the old Class C, appealing though it must have been. Gord.

  3. With the economy slowing seems like a good time to shop for a RV. It might take a few months but we will travel again. Really like the yellow finch with the greenery.

  6. Cormorants lack the oils that ducks have so water does not shed off them like it does off a ducks back. You will often see them sitting with their wings acock so that the sun can dry them. Guess that makes it easier for them to cruise along underwater.
