OUT ROUNDING UP SOME MORE CORN COBS AND A SCARE FOR AN RVING BLOG COUPLE

BLUE JAY
Just think.....a month from now it will be April 1rst and how nice is that for we folks in cold wintery northern latitudes.  Many Snowbirds will be on the road heading north or will already be home by then.
Morning sunshine beamed through our living room window casting it's warming rays into our kitchen and down the hallway.  My spirits were lifted just seeing that and knowing our Planet Earth was slowly tilting towards the Sun's warmth.  Soon, our latest snow dump will begin to melt:))
EVEN THIS GAL ON TV  WAS HAPPY TO SEE MORNING SUNSHINE STREAMING THROUGH OUR LIVING ROOM WINDOW
MORNING'S GOLDEN RAYS
It was a bit of a short snort Jeep ride this morning.  Only had one corn cob left for the Squirrels so needed to re-stock the supply and that meant a snowy road trip out into the countryside where I knew the whereabouts of an unharvested corn field close to the road.  Wasn't long and we had us nearly a dozen cobs safely tucked away in the Jeep and headed home.

ON OUR WAY ALONG THIS SNOWY ROAD TO GET US SOME CORN COBS
THE BANANAS ARE FOR US AND THE WATER IS FOR PHEEBS
ENJOYING HER JEEP RIDE
LOVE TO SEE THOSE TREE SHADOWS BEING CAST ACROSS THE ROAD
Still had some drifted in pathways to shovel out in our backyard.  Lower torso muscles were sore from my 'stuck Jeep' episode Saturday so I needed to give those muscles some more exercise to keep them from stiffening up.
BIG PILE OF PLOWED UP SNOW ON BAYFIELD'S MAIN STREET THIS MORNING
Here's a scary thing that happened to fellow RV Bloggers Jim and Sandie and it looks like it could happen to any RV'er with a hydraulic pump in their rig.  A Nightmare I Never Saw Coming.
Although our day remained mostly cloudy and temperatures didn't get up to what was predicted it was Okay.  Time is on our side now and just think....a week from tonight we turn our clocks ahead one hour.  How's that for a nice shot of Spring tonic:))

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A little boy went up to his father and asked : " Dad, where did all of my intelligence come from? " His father replied : " Well, son, you must have gotten it from your Mother, because I still have mine. "

  1. Amazing what Water shorting across Electrical Connections can do. Just lucky there was no damage done and the Dogs were unharmed. I suggested they pull the Fuse so they don't have a repeat.
Be Safe with that Shoveling and Enjoy the Sunshine.

    It's about time.

  2. Such a cute little black squirrel - lucky to have Uncle Al trekking the snowy wastelands to provide winter corn! Tell Kelly the curtains are stunning!!! They look like spun gold. Looks like we might be getting an early Spring so hang in there.

  3. Hello Al, so nice to read about your thoughts and see your great pictures. We love to follow your blog. Have you heard anything new about the park being sold? We are almost ready to make the move to fully retired and have not seen any homes for sale...

    1. Hi Folks, we are still in such a big huge muddled up mess here in the Park. We still don't know if the Park is sold (doubt it) or what. A Park letter today said one of the two principle owners of the Park this past 36 years has now stepped aside and is no longer involved with the Park. There seems to be a lot of litigation going on and rumors are rampant. Bottom line.....we the residents still have no idea what's going on.

  4. Thanks for the update Al. Its a shame they dont keep you in the loop. Can cause some unnecessary stress.
I guess we will wait some more to move...we talked to Ken last week about a possible new lot, but it sounds expensive and complicated. They used to own a park near where we live called Forrest Estates. Hope they sort it out soon.

  5. And here I thought it was raccoons stealing the corn from that unharvested field!
