::Al's Musical Favs:: Simply Satie by Michael Dulin. One of my all time favorite piano pieces.
GROANER'S CORNER:(( As we were putting out cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve, I accidentally dropped one. 'No problem,' I said, picking it up and dusting it off before placing it back on the plate. 'You can’t do that,' argued my four-year-old.
'Don’t worry. Santa will never know.' He shot me a look. 'So he knows if I’ve been bad or good, but he doesn’t know the cookie fell on the floor?'

I am really enjoying your music selections. Playing in bands and orchestras through school made it difficult to learn the words to songs, I was always listening to the instrumental background. My husband and I also love your photos! We have spent many wonderful days in the desert.
ReplyDeleteNice to hear from another who appreciates instrumentals. I too am more focused on how and what instruments are being used. Thanks for your kind words and I truly understand when you say, 'many wonderful days in the desert'.
ReplyDeleteAiee. Becalmed in the winter doldrums. Hope the sun shines tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteGlad you have your Happy light the therapy is good for us all, Hopefully soon we get some real sunshine out there to recharge our batteries.
ReplyDeleteThe sentence you wrote about your happy light was so funny that I'm still laughing. You are so descriptive I could picture the whole thing. Very funny, Al. 🎃
ReplyDeleteI find in that situation the new Gorilla Tape works better than Duct Tape :)
ReplyDeleteIf the women don't you find you handsome, they should at least find you handy, so says your fellow Canadian Red Green, the Duct Tape Aficionado of the world. He would be impressed with your new found usage of Duct Tape.
