A Union President was sitting at his son's bedside getting ready to read him a bedtime story. He starts out, "Once upon a time and a half..."
===================
Just thought of a way to stop the Squirrels. Purchase or make sheet metal Funnels with the lead in tube bigger then the top of the Feeder like a Chinese Hat. Invert them upside down over the Bird Feeders with the tube pointed up. Drop a Wire through the Top and attach to the Feeder. The Squirrels can't hold on to the metal and will slide right off.
ReplyDeleteWe're keeping George and Suzie in our prayers as well.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Absolutely LOVE the blue jays tonight, especially the first two! Re the weather: talked with sister in St. John's, NL tonight. She said it was on the news there that their temps today were higher than ours in Dallas. Crazy weather. It is a little reasssuring that Ontario still gets snow. Expect you'd just as soon not have that reassurance,
ReplyDeleteThe squirrels can be a real pain. We have gray squirrels and they are always chasing the birds from the feeders. Realize they need food too, but so unfair for our feathered friends. Great photos again tonight.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed all your pics and Groaner tonight. We still have no Winter weather. Nice to see yours.
ReplyDeleteAmazing bunch of pictures today! A big ship to be turning around in that harbour. I love the icicles down by the shore. I fear you're getting more snow than we are.
