IT'S ALL WORTHWHILE JUST SEEING HER SITTING THERE

Woke up to solemn gray rainy skies and the thought of staying right where I was in my recliner was strong.  Knowing it would only make for a longer day of just sitting around I loaded up Pheebs and slowly with some reluctance on my part headed out the door.  I may not be inspired by dull rainy mornings but it makes no difference to Pheebs.  She loves her morning Jeep rides regardless of weather and it makes it all worthwhile for me just seeing her sitting there happily riding beside me.

A WET MORNING
THERE WILL BE NO HARVESTING OF BEANS TODAY
Again I'm not feeling too wordy tonight but did manage a few photos this mornings.  I'm hoping my energy levels will soon be back up to par.
A FEW LEAVES DOWN
After a lot of thought we passed on the 2005 Class B+ R-VisionTravel-Lite.  It was in Bay City Michigan about a 4 hour drive west of us.  Even with the exchange on American money we still could have bought and imported that Travel Lite into Canada for way less money than the same rig would cost in Canada, but a few things stood in our way.  We would have had to drive to Bay City Michigan either Tuesday afternoon or early Wednesday morning to look at it and in my present  condition having to constantly run to the washroom I could never have comfortably made the drive there and back.  Kelly has an MRI scheduled at London's University Hospital early Thursday morning and we just didn't need any extra stress over the next few days either.  Had we liked the RV and bought it it would have meant a second trip to Bay City to bring it home.  And then there is all the paperwork for importing it across the border.  We've done it before with our little Chevy Sunseeker about 5 years ago but that was then and this is now.  We've decided to restrict our RV search to within a hundred miles of where we are here in southwestern Ontario.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( Black Fella to White Fella.
Dear white fella, there's a couple things you oughta know.
Firstly When I am born, I'm black.
When I grow up, I'm black.
When I get sick, I'm black.
When I'm cold, I'm black.
When I go out in the sun, I'm black.
And when I get scared, I'm black.
And when I die, yes, I'm still black.
But you white fellahs ....
When your born, your pink.
When you grow up, your white.
When you get sick, your green.
When your cold, you go blue.
When you go out in the sun, you go red. And when you get scared, your yellah.
And when you die, your purple.
And you call me colored !!!!

Q: Why are dogs such bad dancers?
A: They have two left feet.

Lord, walk beside me with your arm on my shoulder and your hand over my mouth.

A murderer, sitting in the electric chair, was about to be executed.  "Have you any last requests? asked the chaplain.  "Yes," replied the murderer. "Will you hold my hand?"

  2. I can understand not doing something because you already have enough stress in your week. That happens quite a bit around here.

I think you are wise to keep your search closed set to home.

  5. That photo of the Miss Pheebs with her chapeau is priceless and gave me a good chuckle tonight. Remember one day at a time to better health - don't ask me how I know this.

  6. Yuma also just loves to go somewhere and doesn't care where. Unfortunately, I don't have the interest to drive through cornfields and soybean fields so we only get out when I go on short errands. Hope you are feeling back to normal soon.

  7. Love the picture of Pheebs. Her eye looks like an arrow and I thought you'd drawn it in. She looks so content.
The rv will be there when you are ready and it will be in the right place too. :) Feel better, Al.
