WELCOME BACK!
ReplyDeleteAll things considered, this is a VERY coherent blog post. Geez. I hope you have fewer pain attacks soon. I'm always glad to get out of the hospital, just leaving makes me feel like I've won. I hope you feel like you've won very soon.
ReplyDeleteWell done for getting through a long painful day so valiantly. It will be interesting to find out what treatment they will give you. Did they talk at all about brachytherapy? That is where they implant some little radioactive seeds into your prostate. I have heard that can have a very beneficial result. Hang in there. Glad you have got Freedo Vandito to keep your mind off things. Take care.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're getting better already. I would still be in bed. Hope Kelly goes with you tomorrow. Two brains are better than one.🤔
ReplyDeleteSure hope the pain subsides soon. I understand this is very painful as my daughter and her son have had these stones.
ReplyDeleteDid they tell you to drink lots of water? Sorry you are in so much pain. I've never had a kidney stone but from what I hear they must be brutal. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteAs a guy who has passed three stones in this life, I know your pain. Sure hope you drink all the water you can and get all those bits and pieces out the wanker. Good coherent post is a wonder after being knocked out. I was fuzzy for a few days. Wishing you the best.

You are going to be just fine in awhile. I sense your courage with life strongly. Ain't that Pheebs precious! She clutches my heart. She shows her happiness the same way ours do here. Nothing like love from a dog. Our extended family, lovers with our animals, have 20
ReplyDelete+ some. I empathize your pain issues. Pain hurts! Good picture of Kelly. What a figure! Very good bones. Which brings to mind - I know no one's age out here in our blog world. What's your's? I'm heading for 79. Best of healing, Al, in the quickest way to refreshing health and life. And give that Pheebs a hug from me, one to all of you.
Glad to hear you are back home again and slowly making a recovery . Good luck with cancer treatments and the rest of your stones.
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks for catching us up. No hospital is pleasant so it sure helps when the nursing staff are wonderful. Best of luck with today's visit and future resolves. Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteSure do empathize with you. It's not like...viola! pain is instantly gone after a procedure. Those pain meds are needed! Hope it evens out today!
ReplyDeleteAl, hubby had a kidney stone ONCE and it was so bad he was CRAWLING on the floor of the doctor's office! YES! That, however, was years ago and I honestly don't remember what she did to it. I'll have to ask him today.
ReplyDeleteOh my...I'm so sorry you are having such pain, Al. There is no way to describe it except that it will take you into the fetal position in one swoop. I took 4 Ibuprofen at at time..I cannot take narcotics. Praying for a better outlook after you see your Urologist. I still have multiple stones, but so far none are moving. Cystoscopy on August 21st to make sure I don't have any bladder tumors.. I am constantly thinking of you..Those stones are the worst. Hugs to all of you!
ReplyDeleteThe reason Pheebs was "snuzziling" you on the way back in Miss Lib, was that you were in HER seat! What a journey Al...get some rest and heal quickly for the next journey...:-)
ReplyDeleteSo very sorry. you have had to endure the pain. Thanks goodness Kelly got a script sent to the pharmacy but you drove to pick it up!! Yikes, not a wise thing to do. Glad the mess are helping control the pain. Good luck with the procedure today.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about all the pain and sure hope that gets better soon. Your flower shots are amazing, as always.
