STILL NOT FEELING ON TOP OF THINGS TODAY AND MY SON SEAN DROPS IN THIS AFTERNOON

SEVERAL READERS HAVE INQUIRED ABOUT THE WHEREABOUTS OF LITTLE RED ALL SUMMER AND I AM HAPPY TO SAY HE IS ALIVE AND WELL AND I FEED HIM EVERY DAY
It was one of those days where no matter how fast I flapped my arms I just could not get myself off the runway and airborne.  On a short Jeep ride with Pheebs my eyes were not seeing all the beautiful photos I knew to be surrounding us so the camera returned home empty.
INCLUDED IN TONIGHT'S POST ARE THE REMAINING PHOTOS FROM OUR SUNDAY VISIT TO THE COWBELL BREWING COMPANY IN BLYTH ONTARIO

A SECOND FLOOR BAR AREA
A BIG EVENTS ROOM
WALKED FROM THE RESTAURANT SIDE OVER TO THE BREWING SIDE

THIS IS ONE VERY AMAZINGLY CLEAN PLACE

Made the decision a week or so ago to sell the Freedo Bandito.  No we're not giving up our RV plans but we realized after getting the 2002 Leisure Travel van home a month ago it just wasn't going to work out for us.  Yes, yes I know we should have realized that before buying it but just because we are older and 'supposedly' wiser now doesn't mean we are still not susceptible to silly mistakes from time to time.  And that's all I'm going to say about that.  Had a couple people around to look at it this morning.

Hadn't seen my Son Sean who lives in Hamilton Ontario for maybe half a dozen years but my golly he rolled into our driveway around 3 this afternoon.  Of course I knew he was coming and it was great to see him again.  He just turned 50 a few weeks ago.  We had a lot to talk about and catching up to do.  I am so very proud of him and the fine well adjusted young man he has turned out to be.  He has done well with his life and the more we talked today the more I wished I was more like him.  We laughed at the so many things we had in common.  Like Father like Son they say and I could see it.  But whatever I am he is so much more.  In many ways he has turned out to be what I wished I could have turned out to be.  I held him on the first day he was born then never saw him again for close to 20 years when he finally found me.  Thanks for dropping by Sean, you made my day.
YUP THAT'S ME THE OLD SLOUCH ON THE RIGHT
GEEEZZZZ IT WASN'T THAT MANY YEARS AGO WHEN I LOOKED MORE LIKE SEAN THAN MY ACTUAL SELF TODAY
SEE YA SON:))
GROANER'S CORNER:((  Walking through Chinatown, a tourist is fascinated with all the Chinese restaurants, shops, signs and banners. He turns a corner and sees a building with the sign, "Hans Olaffsen's Laundry."  "Hans Olaffsen?", he muses. "How the heck does that fit in here?"  So he walks into the shop and sees an old Chinese gentleman behind the counter.  The tourist asks, "How did this place get a name like "Hans Olaffsen's Laundry?  "The old man answers, "Is name of owner."  The tourist asks, "Well, who and where is the owner?"  "Me, is right here," replies the old man.  "You? How did you ever get a name like Hans Olaffsen?"  "Is simple," says the old man. "Many, many year ago when come to this country, was stand in line at Documentation Center. Man in front was big blonde Swede. Lady look at him and go, "What your name?" He say, "Hans Olaffsen." Then she look at me and go, "What your name?"  "I say, Sem Ting."

My kids were fighting over their toys. I warned them if they kept it up I would take the toys away. They didn’t stop so I took them away to teach them a lesson.Afterwards, they were still fighting. I said, “That’s it!” and gave them their toys back.Lesson learned.

  1. Referencing the RV decision: My father used to say a lot "it is a wise man who cuts his losses early".

  6. WOW AL, you look a lot younger than you claim to be. So very awesome your son Sean came by to see you. Hopefully, many more visits will be. So, is it safe to say... Little Red is the "Winner" of The Bayfield Bunch Feeder games?

  9. We have toured a lot of breweries and that one looks amazing. Wondered how long before you sold Fredo, we had a similar one and could just not imagine you guys in it, Good luck with finding the right one. So nice that Sean dropped by to visit and catch up with you, I remember the last visit.

  10. What a nice looking young man your son it..If memory serves ( and it rarely does), he is a singer /songwriter? Or did I just make that up! Those stents are a pain in the ass..or whatever.. When those are removed you will feel better! Heads up, friend!!

  13. So glad you got a son visit in! Hey guys, check out the Leisure Travel Van line (I’m obsessed with the Unity Rear Lounge!). https://leisurevans.com/unity/videos/ https://leisurevans.com/unity/floorplans/

  14. Al, awesome to see you and your son together! My son and I have always been very close but I still feel pride in the fact that he is out to be better than me. My first proudest day, of many, was when he beat me at chess when he was 10. And, I played him hard and never let him win. Salute, my friend!
