OUR COMPANY HAS HEADED HOME AND WE MISS THE LITTLE GIRL WITH THE LITTLE GIGGLES

SAW THESE TWO LITTLE SUNFLOWER KIDS SKIPPING MERRILY THROUGH A BEAN FIELD ON OUR WAY TO GODERICH THIS MORNING
I remembered a scene in the movie 'The Wizard of Oz' this morning.  In the movie there came the sound of tiny unseen voices giggling somewhere and that is what stirred my memory.  Glancing in the direction of our couch I saw a tiny arm.  It was Ella of course and she was on the sofa with her Samsung Tablet watching 'Teen Titans' on Netflix.

Another beautiful morning found Pheebs and I heading to Goderich to pick up a couple prescriptions at the Walmart Pharmacy.  A few grocery items while there as well.  Even managed ourselves a grassy walk in an area behind the local LCBO building. (Liquor Control Board of Ontario)

Back home again I dropped Pheebs off and headed over to Gayle and Richards.  A sad day for them having just lost their beloved Golden Retriever Beckham Sunday to leukemia.  A rescue dog from Afghanistan years ago Richard and Gayle extended Beckham's life by five and half years.  And they were the best five and a half years of his life.
DROPS OF COLOR FROM MOTHER NATURE'S PAINTBRUSH
Home again it was a restful afternoon as both Kelly and I re-charged our aging batteries.  Just seems like everything is coming at us at once lately and by the end of the day it's like we're pretty much out of gas and running on fumes.  We'll be up early Tuesday morning and on the road to London's south end before 6 a.m.  Destination is the London Regional Cancer Center.  Not looking forward to London's morning rush hour traffic although I occasionally used to do this same route to the hospital transporting wheel chair people when I drove for Town and Country years ago.  Town and Country is now called OneCare.
THERE'S A PHEEBER DOG OUT THERE SOMEWHERE
GOLDENROD...A SURE SIGN OF AN APPROACHING AUTUMN
Ella, Rebecca, and Ricardo were back from the beach around 5 and we were soon lining up a pizza from Bayfield's Pizza By The Square.  Pheebs and I saddled up and headed into town to pick it up.  Hurrying through pizza bandit country we were soon on our way home with Pheebs riding shotgun.  We made it and another great pizza was enjoyed by all.  With rainy skies approaching and our early start in the morning our company decided to head home tonight instead of tomorrow.  Oh no we were soon to be Ellaless:((

AND THERE THEY GO
GROANER'S CORNER:((   A man was forced to take a day off from work to appear for a minor traffic summons. He grew increasingly restless as he waited hour after endless hour for his case to be heard.  When his name was called late in the afternoon, he stood before the judge, only to hear that court would be adjourned for the next day and he would have to return the next day.  "What for?" he snapped at the judge.  His honor, equally irked by a tedious day and sharp query roared, "Twenty dollars contempt of court. That's why!"  Then, noticing the man checking his wallet, the judge relented. "That's all right. You don't have to pay now."  The young man replied, "I'm just seeing if I have enough for two more words."
