'OH DEAR' AN UNEXPECTED CALL FROM MY UROLOGIST DOCTOR'S OFFICE:((

Okay so it's a beautiful summer morning just cool enough to wear a lite jacket.  Pheebs and I are leisurely walking a quiet trail in the scenic Hullett Marsh when my flip-phone rings.  Only person knowing my number is Kelly so I'm thinking her RV alert site has just come up with an RV for sale close by.  Well no such luck.  She said my Doctor's office in Stratford had just called saying Dr. Bukala needs to see me ASAP.  It seems my Cat Scan a couple days ago revealed something it 'wasn't looking for'.  A large stone is all the lady from the Doctor's office said!!  Now I haven't eaten any gravel lately so don't know what kind of a stone it is or where it is.  Could be a kidney stone.  At least I know it isn't a Rolling Stone, Stonehenge, Sharon Stone, or remnants of Ricky Nelson's Stone Canyon Band.  If it is a large kidney stone it wont' be the first.  I was hospitalized about 8 years ago in Tucson Arizona where a Cat Scan at the time revealed a large kidney stone.  And that one was painful enough to land me in Emergency that time.  I had that kidney stone lasered out by Doctor Bukala a few months later back in Canada.  Anyway, I now have to be at Dr. Bukala's Stratford office next Wednesday afternoon.  Geeeezzzz, I am reminded of the old saying, 'If it doesn't rain it pours'.  It's going to be a busy medical week starting early Monday morning.
A BEAUTIFUL MORNING IN THE HULLETT MARSH

ABOUT 10 SECONDS AFTER I TOOK THIS PHOTO IN THE MARSH MY PHONE RANG....AND IT WAS KELLY
A PROTECTED TURTLE NEST AND DID YOU NOTICE PHEEBS IN THE LONG GRASS
BALES OF HAY DRYLY WRAPPED UP IN PLASTIC
A FARMER PULLING A HAY RAKING DEVICE BEHIND HIS TRACTOR
THESE RAKED UP ROWS OF HAY WILL NEXT BE BALED
A COMBINE SITS IDLY IN THE FIELD WITHOUT IT'S LARGE HARVEST HEAD ATTACHED TO THE FRONT OF IT
AHA SO THERE'S THE LARGE HARVEST HEAD SITTING ON IT'S TRAILER
Okay, so what else is going on.  Well not much really.  Still keeping an eye out for a smaller RV and due to current medical circumstances we have no idea if we'll get to go south again this winter or not.  It's not looking too promising at the moment so we'll just have to wait and see how things go.  At least at this point we are not down about it and realistically not over the top about it either.  We are truly in a 'one day at a time' mode right now.
A FEW UPDATE PICS TAKEN WEDNESDAY MORNING FOR CATHIE AND GORD

Phone rang this afternoon and it was our good friend Ron Krauter from Four Seasons Performance.  He was in our neighborhood and had spotted a Class B Motorhome for sale and thought we might be interested in looking at it.  Took us less than 5 minutes to reach his location only a few miles from our place.  Nice Class B with a spotless interior but bigger and longer than we've been looking for.  We were undecided so Ron bought it on the spot and said if we want it he would give it to us for the same price he just bought it for.  That's the kind of guy Ron is.  Said he also had a Pleasure Way Class B van coming in a couple weeks from now we might be interested in.  Depends on the floor plan and price so we'll see.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( "I thought I told you to keep an eye on your cousin," the mother said. "Where is he?" "Well," her son replied thoughtfully, "if he knows as much about canoeing as he thinks he does, he's out canoeing. If he knows as little as I think he does, he's out swimming."

Doctors at a hospital in Brooklyn, New York have gone on strike.  Hospital officials say they will find out what the doctors' demands are as soon as they can get a pharmacist over there to read the picket signs!

  1. Hi! That's a really neat picture of shadows on those green leaves. Maybe the word "stone" is not so bad. Better than "spot" or "growth", or...... Maybe, if it is a kidney stone, you will be spared the grief of finding out it was there the hard way, with all the attendant pain involved. You are certainly sure that your doctor know how to handle stones. Wonderful to have friends In high places who will buy an RV for you in case you want it. Wow. A nice lift to your day. May you have lots more of those!

  3. The marsh changes so much with the seasons - very pretty with all the green. I agree the pic with the leaf shadows is awesome. Pleasure Way has some beautiful rigs, maybe this one will work for you guys!! Nice to have Ron looking out for you. Hope the doctor has a quick fix.

  4. Yep they could have added one more word like Gall or Kidney and saved a lot of wondering. Best of luck on what ever it is. Amazing all the home building going on up there. I have seen those types of hay rakes up here, I do not know if they are better than the old side delivery rakes or not.

  5. At least you aren't on the road this time with a stone. And you Dr. can take care of it quicker. Did you ever notice that you feel fine but just need to do and annual check up and never seem to finish running tests? Yes next week is a pesty one here for me to

  7. Good luck with the stone, maybe it is a rolling one and will roll right on out!
Love the bird and cattle pictures the best. :)

  8. Hope this one is something that will avoid finding a stone the hard way like you did before.
Thanks for the building updates again. One of the pictures makes it look like the roofs are on already, but the picture is just lined up with finished unit roofs across the road. Pretty neat effect.

  9. Al, you might remember a popular old song called "Life gets Tee-jus don't it". by Carson Robison - but also done by Burl Ives. ( tee-jus is a play on tedious ). I say that often but nobody knows what I'm talking about. LOL. I played that record a lot as a child - and now it has come full circle to be my life. It is on Youtube. Best Wishes. Love those cow photos. 🍀

  10. Hope you three can go to the southwest this winter. I stayed home last winter and I hated it. I hope a stone is all they found.

  11. Good luck with your medical week. We've had a lot of that, and of taking it one day at a time over the past 20 months.

  12. And so you wait once again. I hate the waiting to find out more than anything. We weren't able to go north this summer because of health issues but I'm hoping next year works out for us. So I'm praying you and Kelly get to go south for the winter. One day at a time is all we can do. Wishing you all the best.
