Pheebs and I again took full advantage of cooler overnight temperatures this morning cruising along with windows down stopping here and there for a few photos. By 9:30 I could feel the humidity building so we weren't long in heading for home.
Not wanting to bore readers with a detailed daily itinerary of what I do from the moment I get up to the moment I go to bed each and every day I do find it hard at times to come up with interesting things to write about. But of course it is the challenge we daily Bloggers face and it does keep some of us on our toes trying hard to keep our posts from falling into the every day Blogger's trap of recurring repetitiveness.
(Quote) "A writer is a writer not because they write well & easily, because they have amazing talent, or because everything they do is golden. A writer is a writer because, even when there is no hope, even when nothing they do shows any sign of promise, they keep on writing anyway".
Kelly, on her 'RV alert' site spotted a wide body Class B Pleasure Way Camper Van for sale in London this morning. Price was right so we thought we would go have a look at it. Nope, it sold before we could even get our shoes on.
GROANER'S CORNER:(( A Few Thoughts::
Democracy is that form of government where everybody gets what the majority deserves.
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to "get lost" in such a way that they look forward to the trip.
Diplomacy is the art of letting someone else have your way.
Diplomacy is the art of saying "nice doggy" until you find a large enough rock. Do not believe in miracles, rely on them.
Do someone a favor and it becomes your job.
Do whatever your enemies do not want you to do.
Doing a good job around here is like wetting your pants in a dark suit; you get a warm feeling, but nobody notices.
Don't be irreplaceable; if you cannot be replaced, you cannot be promoted.
Don't be so open minded that your brain falls out.

Alway do enjoy your photos and posting every day is a challenge but we do manage to post something interesting or not it is was I do anyway , Guess that rv was a good deal to be sold before you even headed out.Keep searching and something'll pop up. we searched for years until we found ours rv's
ReplyDeleteWhew--you are thinking small RV!!
ReplyDeleteAl your blogs are never boring even if there’s no words, just pictures.Joe always did like the looks and lay out of the Pleasure Way
ReplyDeleteOMG - I love, love that last pic. Definitely a frame-worthy beauty. Those Pleasure Way rigs are sweet, I'm not surprised it was gone so quickly.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos tonight, with the ones of the sheep being my favorite.
ReplyDeleteLoved the light and dark shadows on the leaves. You photos of animals show us how intelligent they are. They are watching us. Your photos are always interesting. You have a perceptive eye Al. I journal and blog daily. It surprises me at the end of the day how interesting it was. It is the little things that matter. I have some days in my journal when I write nothing. I always wonder what I did then. Sometimes, I am so busy with grandchildren that I was too busy... and yet I wish I had taken a little time to record those precious moments when they happened.
ReplyDeleteAfter 31 days of mid to high 80's, we are now in the 60's. If the fires would go out and smoke clear, things would be back to normal up here. My neighbors love their used Pleasure Way Mercedes dully RV. They have been using it to sleep in on these hot smokey days. I like it also and one might be in our future.
ReplyDeleteAlways looking but not always commenting. Wish I had the fortitude to write daily, but don't. Glad to see you two are still looking. I'm planning to head to the southwest again this year, but sans wife and Fergie unfortunately. I guess Dolly will never be the RV type.

ReplyDeleteAlways love your photos of animals - especially horses, cows, sheep - and of course, Pheebes (the most special of all). Your blog makes my morning coffee so much sweeter.! 🌷
ReplyDeleteYou do need to find something soon to fill the void where Triple E once stood tall and bold...:-)
ReplyDeleteThe close up of that one sheep....as soon as I saw that picture the thought was "well, hello there". Groaners Corner gave me a lot of food for thought. Thank you!
