ACTUALLY GOT TO FINALLY WEAR A SHORT SLEEVE SHIRT THIS AFTERNOON
There's been a small hole in the Jeep's muffler for a very long time now and I suppose I've just gotten used to it but today decided it was time to have that little problem taken care of. Stopped at Goderich's Napa Autopro and made an appointment for later in the week.
Kelly received notice today her liver biopsy will be May 30th with an MRI to follow sometime in July.
Skies finally cleared around noon and how nice to be bathed in sunlight once again although it's only temporary with clouds moving back in by Wednesday morning. Made a start on my front deck painting project this afternoon. Going to try and do it in sections instead of trying to do the whole thing in 5 minutes. Started with the steps today.
Under cool sunny skies Pheebs and I headed out for an afternoon walk along the Pine tree trail. How nice to see the Spring forest beginning to burst forth in it's many hews of green. And surprisingly I was able to do the walk in a short sleeve shirt. That is probably a first for this year. A month from now our gardens should be in their prime for the year with everything looking so refreshingly alive and vibrant. June is a nice month here before the heat and humidity of summer sets in
We say a final good-bye to the Big E in the morning. Our Triple E Commander Motorhome will be gone.
GROANER'S CORNER:(( A woman walks in a store to return a pair of eyeglasses that she had purchased for her husband a week before. "What seems to be the problem, madam?" "I'm returning these glasses I bought for my husband. He's still not seeing things my way."
-----------------
Jeff: Walter, your wife is a lovely woman. Walter: She's getting old.
Jeff: Well, you know, they say that women age like fine wine.
Walter: Shes aging like milk.
--------------------
"When I saw you driving down the road, I guessed 55 at least." "You're wrong, officer, it's only my hat that makes me look that old."
==================
Magnificent photos. It is sad to say goodbye (we did this same thing) but just know that new adventures await you, Kelly and Miss Pheebs!
ReplyDeleteThe much warmer weather was wonderful we enjoyed it here as well. Lots of good memories made in the Big E good luck with further adventures no matter how you will do them.
ReplyDeleteIn that third picture up from the bottom, what are those tall plants with the cone shaped flower on top? I have never seen anything like that before.
ReplyDeleteThe deck is going to look great with that paint! I'm surprised Kelly has to wait so long for an MRI, hope all is well. Your motorhome is such a beauty, someone's getting a great little home.
ReplyDeleteYou flowering shrubs and plants are spectacular! We are still in late winter mode here in Stouffville. Dull, dreary and cold!. Sad day tomorrow. I remember that you once said that Big E was the best motorhome you had ever owned. Hope you get a good one for the next phase of travelling.
