DIDN’T TAKE ANY PHOTOS TODAY BUT I DO HAVE A FEW LEFT OVER FROM THURSDAY…..SOMEWHERE ON I-90 LATE THURSDAY AFTERNOON
Nice waking up this morning without that feeling we needed or wanted to be somewhere else by the end of the day. Been missing that.
When we do get home shortly we have a big clean-up to do on the Motorhome both inside and out. I’m hoping the day is not far off when I will absolutely not miss having to wash and clean up a great big huge Motorhome. A smaller one might be doable.

Thanks to Patty and Peter for pointing out a typing error in my Thursday post. I had referred to our Motorhome’s length as 57 feet when it reality I’m sure everyone really knows I meant 37 feet. I have since corrected the error. Thanks P&P:))
SNOOZING THE MILES AWAY
Kelly’s Sister Cathy along with Kelly’s brother Peter and wife Leslie dropped in for a few hours visit today which resulted in take-out food from a couple local eateries nearby. For being 93 Kelly’s Mother is still doing reasonably well living in her own house but due to bad knee surgery a few years ago she does not get around very well anymore.
Aside from catching my laundry up I didn’t do much all day. I am still sooooo tired and just slowly grubbed myself around in a Zombie like state. Spent as much time as I could in my soft leather recliner just holding tightly to the arms and not moving. Every time I pulled my favorite blankie over my head Pheebs came and pulled it off.

ReplyDeleteYou should take a long rest, but you will probably be back to work by tomorrow - unloading, cleaning, polishing, etc. Motorhomes can be a lot of work at the end of a trip!

ReplyDeleteI didn't catch the size difference. But there are some times when I feel our RV is 60ft long. instead of 28ft 11in. We have always paid for a 25ft space in our RV Storage facility . When we put the RV in beside our Cargo trailer which is 25ft. we got a call that we were 30ft, and of course they raised the amount we pay for the spot. So now for some reason we are charged for two 30 ft spots. We checked around and decided to stay where we are because there are waiting lists, we are able to get access to our vehicles 24hrs a day here so maybe we should just stay here. We get a discount and we are treated like we own the place.
ReplyDeleteWe took our RV to have some work done to it. When we leave in the RV we usually leave one of our vehicles in the RV's spot. With in two days we got a call from the RV Storage Lot Manager if something was wrong. I like that the people that run the storage lot keep an eye out.
Same as Run N Rose saidI figured you were fed up with driving your coach and it was feeling much larger than it actually was.. Now to relax a bit and take the final leg home.
ReplyDeleteTo fully support your day of rest, we spent most of our Friday sleeping and being zombies as well! It's wonderful that Kelly's mom is still able to live at home. And great there's room for the MH to be close by for your visits. Pheebs under Kelly's seat is hysterical - amazing she can fit in there!
