ALL OF BAYFIELD’S SUMMER SAILBOAT DOCKS ARE BACK IN THE WATER
Everything is Okay here folks. Long time readers will know I have a habit of stumbling over myself from time to time which results in me not always publishing my daily blog. There are a number of reasons for that of which one is my frustration with my own repetition. When this happens I lose interest and direction. So far over the years this loss of interest has been short and only lasts a few days. I do know however sooner or later that blogging frustration of mine will likely be permanent. Could be tomorrow, next month or two years down the road. For the time being I hope to wake up each morning with a desire to write a few words and take a few photos. As long as I feel that way then that is what I will continue to do. We’ll see how tomorrow goes…………..
I DON’T THINK I HAVE SEEN THE FEDERAL KUSHIRO IN THE PORT OF GODERICH BEFORE
MODERN SAILORS
A big thank you to all you ‘Shouters’ for your thoughts and concerns………………..
WITH OUR COLD SPRING THE HULLETT MARSH IS TAKING A LONG TIME TO GREEN UP THIS YEAR
GROANER’S CORNER:(( Q. What did the cannibal say when he came upon a sleeping missionary. "Ah! Breakfast in bed”.
- Did you ever see the customers in a health-food store? They are pale, skinny people who look half dead. In a steak house you see robust, ruddy people. They're dying of course, but they look terrific.
- God noticed that Adam was lonely. He said to him "Adam, I am going to give you the perfect companion. She'll cook and clean and listen, she's perfect."Adam replied, "What will she cost me?"God said, "An arm and a leg."Shocked, Adam said, "Well, what can I get for a rib?"

The Hullet Marsh picture is beautiful. We so enjoy your blog. Take care.
ReplyDeleteGlad your back ....really enjoy your blog!
ReplyDeleteAl,
ReplyDeleteThose are great photos of the Federal Kushiro. Also that's a great close up of the two crew members on deck. What camera and lense did you use.
I am hoping for the "two years down the road". And, maybe if we're lucky, when those two years are up, you'll give us another choice of "x" number of years. You are a much treasured part of our lives. Do take care of you and yours.
ReplyDeleteAl, I went to the gas station to get a coffee, as I walked up, I noticed 2 Police officers watching some dude who was smoking while pumping gas.
ReplyDeleteI saw him and thought, is he really that stupid? Anyway, I went in and got my coffee and as I was checking out, I heard screaming and looked outside. The dude's arm was on fire! He was swinging his arm and running around going crazy!
I ran outside and watched the cops put him on the ground and were putting the fire out w/their coffees! LOL, YES, THEIR COFFEES!
Then, they handcuffed him and threw him in the back of the police car. I thought, dumb but he shouldn't have been smoking near the pump while getting gas!!! So being the nosy person I am, I asked the Police officers, "Why are you arresting him?"
The cop looked me dead in my eyes and said: FOR WAVING A FIREARM!!!
(You know you smiled...)
Al when you are at a loss for words, a few fresh pictures of Pheebs will do just fine for me. If I was going to have a pup in my life, Pheebs would be the role model.
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking in and letting us all know you are OK and just going through one of those "times." Hope your "back up and running" real soon.
ReplyDeleteGlad that your funk is going away , sunshine and warmer weather for a few day now will surely help. It is not easy to post a daily blog , and yes there is a lot of repetition on ours as well, but more than anything it is a nice way to record our lifestyle and travels.
ReplyDeleteI totally get it. My drive for blogging has hit a huge roadblock. There are other things more important to me right now..I hope your glitch rights itself.
ReplyDeleteI agree, frustration with blogging can disrupt my whole day at times. However Al, if a picture is worth a thousand words and yours speak volumes so if the actual words don't come please don't torture yourself thinking you need to write, but at least continue to post your wonderful pictures, they tell us where you are, what you see and how you're doing. Friends don't really need a blow by blow accounting just the occasional word or two and we can fill in the blanks. After all if we didn't like what we see or read, we wouldn't keep coming back time after time. Relax, enjoy your days, don't fret. Find a sunny spot, turn on some tunes and enjoy just being alive, breathing and looking forward in your life. We'll be here.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you just switch to an every other day blog? We understand.
