OUR ‘LATEST’ NEW SPOT…..AND WE HAVE TREES:)))))))
Sorry for more Motorhome photos tonight but I really didn’t get out to take many pictures of anything again today. I seem to be in a bit of a photo fog at the moment which is kind of good I guess because I had been overloading my posts with too many photos lately anyway.
‘NO PHEEBS YOU WILL NOT LIKE SAURKRAUT’
Had the big wheels rolling around 9 this morning and headed into town to the American Legion on Borrego Springs Road to dump our tanks and take on water. We had made the decision Saturday to leave Borrego and begin heading East. Hard for me to explain why we made that decision but we did and for all intents and purposes we were on our way. Borrego Springs has always been and still is one of the greatest areas for seeing and doing things in a varied awe inspiring landscape of beautifully enchanting mountains and deserts. We probably have more great California memories here than anywhere else. So why leave so soon?? Good question and after dumping our tanks this morning we seriously reconsidered our decision.

Being the foot loose fancy free RV Snow Birds that we are and always have been not having any restrictions, responsibilities, commitments, or obligations we are often prone to whatever direction the mood of the moment moves us and this past week these moods and whims have been shoving us around pretty good. We are in our 4th boon-docking site in 3 days so you can see how undecidedly restless we have been. Not sure where we’ll be tomorrow but I can tell you one thing for sure and that is we are both feeling better than we were a couple days ago and I hope to have my writing and photo mojo back shortly. In the meantime we’ll continue to lay low and store up us much stress free rest and relaxazion as we possibly can for now. No idea where Monday night’s post will be coming from but where we are right now is pretty darn cool and no doubt would surprise some readers. More about that maybe tomorrow plus a funny happening and a blog reader recognizes Pheebs from afar.
WE’RE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR ‘LATEST NEW SPOT’

GROANER’S CORNER:(( At the airport for a business trip, I settled down to wait for the boarding announcement at Gate 35. Then I heard the voice on the public address system saying, "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Delta Flight 570 will board from Gate 41." So my family picked up our luggage and carried it over to Gate 41. Not ten minutes later the public address voice told us that Flight 570 would in fact be boarding from Gate 35. So, again, we gathered our carry-on luggage and returned to the original gate. Just as we were settling down, the public address voice spoke again: "Thank you for participating in Delta's physical fitness program.

A man walks in a bank, pulls out a gun, and robs the bank...Then he turns around and asks the next customer in line, "Did you see me
rob this bank?" The customer replies, "YES!"
The robber raises his gun and shoots him!
He then moves to the next customer in line and says to the man, "DID ... YOU ... SEE ... ME ... ROB THIS BANK????" The man calmly responds, "No ... But My Wife Did!"

I think that is a great spot! I could sit there for a few more days at least... relax and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good spot, hope the mojo comes back and you can relax a while. I guess your swing through Borrego was just bad weather timing, as last year it was the place to go to get away from the wind around Yuma.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels and be well.
With regards to your blog and photo blues, just remember the old saying... this too shall pass. Love your new spot, looks so inviting with the lovely trees.
ReplyDeleteThat is a perfect spot. Now stay there and relax. All your moving around makes me tired!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you finally found a wonderful spot there. But do what ya gotta do and enjoy the areas wherever you go.
ReplyDeleteYou're keeping us in such suspense!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to find out where you are! But at least it seems you have good WiFi. Relax and enjoy
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE the shade and trees! It sure was windy yesterday. We drove from the desert to Temecula. I've NEVER seen Anza with so much dust in the air!

I agree that's a nice sweet spot, especially if you're getting the winds we are. Being able to change our minds about direction or even moving at all is one of the things I love about this flexible life. Of course sometimes our having to be flexible for outside issues is part of it too :-)))
