THE GOLDEN BACKGROUND IS A RIPENING BEAN FIELD
It was 9:15 this morning when Murray from Speedy Glass backed into our driveway. He was here to fix two stone chips in the driver’s side windshield of our Motorhome. Having been here before he knew where to find us. Think it was 6 or 7 years ago when we had a stone chip in the windshield of our 03 Damon Challenger fixed. Didn’t take him long to fix the chips and he was on his way.
Again being careful with my wrist I was able to get a bunch of cleaning-up done in our front yard and out by the road where the big tree cutting machine is parked. Got some ruts filled in, debris picked up and in general things are beginning to look at least a little better than they did last week at this time.
YOU CAN SEE OUR ROOF LINE BEHIND ALL THE GREENERY
THIS IS WHERE THE BIG PINE TREE FELL DOWN AND WENT BOOM IN OUR YARD LAST WEEK
I could tell by Pheebs body language she was feeling sad about not getting out for her usual morning Jeep ride. She lays in the driveway with her face flat on the ground. Needing a break from my yard clean-up I popped her into the Jeep around 10:30 and off we went for a wee hours drive and some good old fresh country air.
IT WAS A BIG WHITE FLUFFY CLOUD KIND OF A DAY

STOPPING FOR A REST BEFORE SHE GETS BACK TO THE JEEP
What a huge bonus these cooler late Summer Autumn like days are for me. Despite my low energy levels I was able to spend some time in our back yard today continuing on with what seems like a never ending back yard project. Over the years we have kinda let things grow in too thick back there and today I made some progress in eliminating a lot of tall scrubby stuff. Figured it was about time to let more sunshine into that whole way too shady area.
Kelly’s off to Kitchener in the morning to visit her daughter Rebecca. Rebecca, husband Ricardo and their little daughter Ella just bought and moved into a new to them house a week ago. Kelly’s got a car load of stuff to take over for them. Drapes, tablecloths, dishes, etc. etc. And probably even a couple more etcs………….
GROANER’S CORNER:(( A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran, she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!" As she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress. She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again. Again, she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!...But don't shove me either!"

Boy Scouts from the city were on a camping trip. The mosquitoes were so fierce, the boys had to hide under their blankets to avoid being bitten. Then one of them saw some lightning bugs and said to his friend, "We might as well give up. They are coming after us with flashlights."

I'm reluctant to do much work on our RV, but Merikay convinced me to fix a chip in our windshield. It was easy and has held for 3 years. You could have gotten a windshield-repair kit and saved a bunch of money.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of the clouds especially the first one. Something about it just draws me in and I want to take a ride down that road.
