Pheebs and I did get out for a short drive this morning but it wasn’t long before the heat and oppressive humidity had us heading for home and the nice relaxing coolness of our house. Temperatures over the last few days have been in the lower 80’s but it’s the heavy humidity that makes things so uncomfortable for most people.
THIS IS AN OLD RAILWAY LINE NORTHEAST OF GODERICH THAT HAS BEEN MADE INTO A WALKING TRAIL
I HAVE SEEN MORE MONARCH BUTTERFLIES IN THE PAST 3 DAYS THAN I HAVE SEEN FOR THE PAST 3 OR 4 YEARS COMBINED
EVEN PHEEBS WAS UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY THIS MORNING
WHAT’S MORE AMAZING THAN A BUNCH OF BUZZARDS ON A SILO
HOW ABOUT A BUNCH OF BUZZARDS ON TWO SILOS
GROANER’S CORNER:(( Two blondes, Molly and Maggie, were walking down the street. Molly noticed a compact on the sidewalk and leaned down to pick it up. She opened it, looked in the mirror and said, "Hmmm, this person looks familiar." Maggie said, "Let me look!" So Molly handed her the Compact. Maggie looked in the mirror and said,"You dummy, it's me!

Census Taker: 'How many children do you have?'
Woman: 'Four.'
Census Taker: 'May I have their names, please?'
Woman: 'Eenie, Meenie, Minie and George.'
Census Taker: 'Okay, that's fine. But may I ask why you named your fourth child George?'
Woman: 'Because we didn't want any Moe.'

ReplyDeleteNot so humid here but will cool down in few days ands you will be in your glory.
ReplyDeleteWe could never survive in the humidity of the east - but it sure makes everything pretty and green! Hope the monarchs are making a comeback. Love those buzzards, such great shots :-)))
ReplyDeleteThe heat does seem to have brought out the Monarchs, but I'm with you. Can't wait for fall to return.
ReplyDeleteOK, I really enjoyed the compact story:))
