A SNOOZY DAY AT OUR HOUSE
Hardly worth mentioning a short Jeep ride Pheebs and I took on this cloudy damp Monday morning so I probably won’t. 
A Guest in in our Shout Box asked, ‘Al, is the blog name here to stay..or will it change back in September’? The question refers to my blog’s name of course which on a whim a couple days ago I changed from ‘Travels With The Bayfield Bunch’ which is what it has always been to ‘Hanging Out With The Bayfield Bunch’. It’s unlikely the Bunch will be doing any traveling again until around the end of October sometime so thought maybe ‘Hanging Out’ was a better fit for our activities from now till then. I would be curious as to what readers think. Don’t know if changing the blog’s title would affect the mechanics of the blog or not but so far it seems like business as usual.

ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of Phoebe today. Hanging or Traveling doesn't make a difference to me. I just like seeing the pictures and reading about it.
ReplyDeleteLove to see pictures of your Phoebe. We have three dogs and just love them. Dogs are special, for sure. Sure do get a laugh out of Groaner's Corner.
ReplyDeleteHanging seems to reflect the current status, but you're likely to be Traveling in the US. I don't know that you need any more readers, but some may find you by entering key works like travel so you would miss those folks if you change it permanently. Maybe both works?
ReplyDeleteChanging the blog title will affect the Google Bots and search engine results after a period of time. Like Jodee talks about above in her comment, but in that case those readers would find you if they included "Bayfield" in their search. You can type in both titles to see what shows up in all the search engines but I would give the new title a couple of weeks for the change to be indexed by the search engines.

Hey Al, I think the short jeep outings you and Pheebs take are just as much fun and travel as the long cross country journeys in the EEE...... It is always fun being along for the ride and the photo shoots......

Either title works. I hang out in the evenings to see what the Bayfield Bunch has been doing for entertainement. Personally, feel like we hangout with you or is it we just tag along for the adventure you add to our lives. The pictures of Pheebes sleeping are hilarious. That girl is so expressive awake or asleep. Your blog...your choice. We will be wherever you are. What is the saying? You can run but you can't hide.
