Had to wait for the garden hose to thaw out this morning before I could tackle the job of washing the Wrangler. Way too cold to be washing a vehicle but I just wanted to get the Wrangler clean-up over & done with. See what a bit of Saturday morning sunshine can do for a fella.
Later in the day I figured I'd work on Libby's aggravating bells & security locks annoyance so headed for the shed to get my hammer & a crowbar. In the meantime Kelly had been reading the Jeep Liberty's manual & came out & solved all the locks & bell’s problems. No more lights blinking & horn honking when the Fob is used to lock or unlock the Jeep. She also disabled the aggravating seat belt bell. I'm not in the habit of strapping on a seat belt when I'm puttering around picking up pine needles with our utility trailer etc. She also figured out how to stop the Jeep from getting itself in a big panic & locking itself up every time it starts rolling down the road or every time we simply exit the vehicle.
Anyway that’s about it for me tonight due to the fact my writing mind isn't cooperating with me again so we'll see what tomorrow brings.
GROANER'S CORNER:(( While visiting my son on his Army base, I chatted with a colleague of his. "What rank are you?" I asked. "I'm relieved to say that I've just been promoted from captain to major." "Relieved? Why?" "Because," he replied, "my last name is Hook."

You are going to have Libby totally trained - very soon.
ReplyDeleteyeah some times bells and whilstle are fine, but newer cars take it a little too far
ReplyDeleteFirst, we enjoyed meeting y'all at the Visitors Center in Blanding, UT last month. Thank you and Kelly for being so gracious. We also have a Jeep Liberty and occasionally it will lock itself with our keys inside the Jeep. Jeeps says it can't happen, but we had witnesses. Just a heads up.
ReplyDeleteOTOH, we have trouble getting our '14 Jeep Wrangler to lock with one set of keys inside, when we are towing it for the day. Sometimes it seems like machines just oppose what we want to do.
DeleteIt's nice that Kelly reads the book. I much prefer the hammer and crowbar approach!
ReplyDeleteAt least you had the option of changing those settings good for Kelly.
ReplyDeleteThe bird photos are spectacular, especially the black bird in the water. Sometimes more words just get in the way.
ReplyDeleteReally, Al what were you thinking to do with a hammer and a crowbar? Smash the damn thing? Tzztzzz...
