SLEEPING ON A DECISION & AUNT JEAN’S LAST DAY WITH US
Same temperature in Bayfield Ontario today as in Congress Arizona. Nice. Wonder how the sheep are doing at keeping the grass trimmed at our digs on Ghost Town Road.
JIM, AUNT JEAN & COUSIN NORMA…I’M THE BIG PALOOKA ON THE LEFT
SOME SERIOUS MENU CONCENTRATION GOING ON HERE…KELLY’S SHANGHAI STIR FRY ON THE RIGHT
JIM’S LIVER & ONIONS ON LEFT & MY DOPEY BURGER ON RIGHT…YEP, THAT’S WHAT IT WAS CALLED ALRIGHT…FIRST TIME EVER I FIGURED MY FOOD KINDA MATCHED MY PERSONALITY:(( NORMA & AUNT JEAN HAD FISH & CHIPS
No movement on the Winnebago deal so I'm guessing it isn't going to fly. We may or may not counter offer or we just may move on to our next option. We'll sleep on it tonight & see what we come up with in the morning.
STEPPING OUT OF THE ALBION
‘HEY’, JEAN SAYS, ‘DON’T KNOCK OVER MY HARLEY
Kelly had her echo cardiogram at the Goderich Hospital this morning & should have the results from that early next week some time. My hip X-rays have been sent to St. Joe's hospital in London Ontario so we'll see what happens.
KELLY LEADS THE WAY DOWN BAYFIELD’S MAIN STREET TO THE ICE CREAM PARLOUR
A LITTLE GUIDED TOUR ALONG THE WAY & RELAX JIM THAT PIECE OF ART IS ONLY $5,500
Aunt Jean's stay is rapidly coming to an end. My first cousin (Jean's niece Norma) & husband Jim came over from Waterloo this afternoon to say good-bye. We all ended up in Bayfield's Albion Hotel for a late supper so I am later getting to the computer tonight. Just not going to be able to get a lot of blabberness out of myself before I fall asleep at the switch.
BY THE TIME WE FINALLY MADE IT TO THE ICE CREAM SHOP……IT WAS CLOSED:((
In the morning Aunt Jean has to have her rental car back in Stratford by noon. We will see her briefly before she leaves. Going to be a sad day at our house tomorrow. She will stay at cousin Mary Ann's in Tavistock Friday night. Early Saturday morning Mary Ann & brother David will drive Jean to the London Ontario where she will catch a shuttle bus for the airport in Detroit Michigan. By the end of the day Jean will be back home in Sarasota Florida comfortably relaxing in her big cushy recliner after a long day's journey. Think she changes planes & has a 2 hour wait in Baltimore or somewhere so she will be making up for a whole bunch of lost snooze time when she gets home.
HAVING A LOOK AT NORMA & JIM’S RECENT CRUISE PICTURES FROM HAWAII
YEP, SEEMS THERE IS ALWAYS A FURRY CRITTER AT OUR HOUSE STEALING THE SHOW…..:))
GROANER'S CORNER:(( A lady on her first visit to Yellowstone National Park said to her guide, "Look at all those big rocks. Wherever did they come from?" "The glaciers brought them down," said the guide. "But where are the glaciers?" The lady asked. "The glaciers," said the guide in a weary voice, "have gone back for more rocks."

About fifteen years ago I had strange chest pains and a crushing tightness. It came and went until one day it got pretty bad and Craig took me into the emergency room. I was not having a heart attack, but they put me in the cardio intensive care ward overnight and did a bunch of tests. The diagnosis was paricarditis or something like that. It was caused by a virus much like the common cold. There is no cure, your imune system just had to fight it off just like it would a cold. They did give me some anti inflamatory medication, I got better and had one relasp about si weeks later. It was diganosised with an echocardiogram.
ReplyDeleteHope Kelly's problem will be as easy to treat. It was really scary for me. I kept expecting to have a heart attack. I was a smoker at the time. Haven't one that for over ten years!
Wishing you and Kelly all the best with your medical issues. Good luck with the motor home negotiations. If this one doesn't work out - you know there's always another motor home somewhere down the road. Love that picture of Pheebs all snoozy and relaxed.
ReplyDeletePrayers for you and Kelly. Waiting is impossible...at least for me...
ReplyDeleteAnother nice day and visit with Aunt Jean and family. Dinner at the Albion looks yummy too.
ReplyDeleteIt is sometimes tough to post your blog when socializing gets in the way especially with the longer summer days.
Good luck with the test results.
Good Karma to Kelly, a hearty farewell to Aunt Jean, and a laugh out loud to Pheebs for her unladylike sleeping position....Remember, also..things happen for reasons..
ReplyDeleteI hope all is well with you and Kelly. I had chest pains once. Mine turned out to be heat stroke! I had not taken in enough water while up at the horse ranch and it affected my muscles, in this case, my heart. After an afternoon in the ER, I was better and was sent home older and wiser. Now I ALWAYS carry water with me and I drink it!
ReplyDeleteSilly Cheryl Ann ~~I should have known better!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the RV, if it isn't the one at least you have all summer to look for another one.
Hope your Aunt Jean has a smooth trip, she will be glad to get to her home.
We will be thinking about you Kelly as you wait for the results of your test.
It was good to see Aunt Jean again, even though the circumstances for her visit were sad.
