Think we have some rain headed our way & that is a good thing. About 4 days back to back of any kind of weather is just about enough so I welcome the weather change. Yep, atmospheric pressure variety is definitely the weather spice of life.
A CARPET OF PERIWINKLE BESIDE OUR HOUSE
Had a short mobility van run this morning from one little town to another & that was about it for today. Lots of farmer's on the field's with their big planting machines this time of year so the dust was just a flying in the county. This whole southern Ontario area we live in is mainly agriculture with lots of farms & fields of green.
THE DARKER VAN IS THE ONE I GENERALLY DRIVE
OH OH, RADAR AHEAD.....NOPE, JUST A DUMMY CAR. SEEN IN HENSALL, ONTARIO
Ever wonder what a real life oil man & fellow RVer does north of the Arctic Circle when he's not on the road with his rig? Check out JOHN & BRENDA'S INCREDIBLE ADVENTURE.
If missing out on not having sweet potatoes fries at Fuddruckers wasn't bad enough, ROD & LOYCE arrived back at their rig in Des Moines Iowa to find water cascading out their rig's door & down the road. Definitely not a couple of happy campers there!!
GROANER'S CORNER:(( An RVer in a motorhome got hopelessly bogged down in an unexpected muddy hole along a dirt road. After a few minutes, a passing farmer drove by on his tractor and offered to pull him out for only $20. After the motorhome was back on dry ground, the RVer said to the farmer, "At those prices, I bet you're pulling vehicles out of this mud day and night."
"Nope," replied the farmer. "Night is when I haul water to fill up the hole again."

The only thing better than right now will someday be the memories of right now...... AL.
You got yerself a problem, pardner. You'll have to invent something to be grumpy about once in a while!
ReplyDeleteI guess you'll just have to keep working on that grumpiness stuff. :P
ReplyDeleteBut Al, ya don't have to be grumpy all the time!!!!! Why don't you go fill the car up with gas, or read your utility bills if your feeling too happy, LOL.
ReplyDeleteHave faith, Al. Something will happen in the next day or two to allow you a perfectly justifiable rant. With that, all your loyal readers will rejoice that the ol' curmudgeon is still alive and kicking!
ReplyDeleteNice fiddlehead pic! Maybe I could step in for you for a few days and be cranky about my new rig problems. ;) :(
ReplyDeleteAl is back in his nice mode since he started driving everyday while the other driver is on holiday, Hopefully he will be back to his old self when that is over.Be safe out there, Sam & Donna..
ReplyDeleteHighway 50 coming down the Sierra Nevada from Lake Tahoe is a narrow twisty Highway. It's all downhill and drivers tend to pick up speed. Just around one turn on the edge of a town there used to be -- and maybe still is -- a plywood cutout painted to look like a Highway Patrol cruiser. Boy, that always slowed down the drivers -- even the ones who had seen it a dozen times. Including me.
ReplyDeleteOh I am sure you will find something to be all crudmudgeoney about!
ReplyDeleteI read about Rod and Loyce, wowzer what a mess! Glad it didn't cause even more damage than it did---
