A VERY LAZY AFTERNOON FOR THE BUNCH TODAY

THIS PHOTO SUMS UP OUR DAY

If I thought Monday was a yukky weather day I hadn't met Tuesday yet.  There were more snow and ice pellets in the air today but it only accumulated in a few spots.  Temps hovered around the freezing mark all day.  Kelly had some books to be returned to the Bayfield Library so Pheebs and I had a mission.  We headed into Bayfield and were back home within half an hour.  Mission accomplished.

 MOST SNOW MELTED ON IMPACT

OUR HAPPY SPRING DAFFODILS FROM A COUPLE DAYS AGO ARE NOT FEELING SO HAPPY NOW
EVEN LAKE HURON APPEARED ANGRY AT THIS APRIL COLD SNAP
WORK IS STILL ONGOING ALONG BAYFIELD'S MAIN STREET
It turned out to be a very lazy day for the Bunch with Kelly not feeling well this afternoon. We'll be on the road again early tomorrow morning and the two days after tomorrow as well.  At least our weather is set to improve beginning overnight.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A tourist climbed out of his car in downtown Washington, D.C. He said to a man standing near the curb, "Listen, I'm going to be only a couple of minutes. Would you watch my car while I run into this store?"  "What?" the man huffed. "Do you realize that I am a member of the United States Senate?"  "Well no," the tourist said, "I didn't realize that. But it's all right. I'll trust you anyway."

- Why are the great pyramids still in Egypt?
Because they were too heavy to carry off to the British Museum.
- I was offered a job building Egyptian tombs
Turned out to be a pyramid scheme
-I'm surprised the Tower of Pisa hasn't fallen over during the pandemic without all those tourists helping hold it up.
- Two Americans are visiting Rome Colosseum  "Look at it. How huge and majestic it is."  "Just imagine how great it'll be when they finish building it."

  1. Oh. Looking at the lake, it certainly does look like a day to snuggle up. Glad you all did.

  2. I really like how you captured the wave coming over, is that a break wall. We are from a city on Lake Michigan and there is something so beautiful and mesmerizing watching the lake when it is angry. Kelly continues to be in our prayers.

  3. Construction just never seems to be finished! We're in the southwest near Monument Valley and expecting freezing temps tonight as well :-0 Love the bright bottle colors.
