ONLY A FEW SPECKLES OF COLOR

I can see only two leaves left on the Rosebud tree outside our east-facing living room window.  All bush lines are now gray and bare with only a few speckles of color here and there.  Our nice Autumn weather will take a downward turn after Friday and I wouldn't be surprised if we had snow on the ground next week.  Our good friends Richard and Gayle dropped in this afternoon and that picked up my day.  Other than that I really can't think of much more to say so I will leave it at that and be on my way.

I MANAGED TO FIND A FEW LAST SPLASHES OF COLOR IN THE GREY BUSHLINES

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A man realized he needed to purchase a hearing aid, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. "How much do they cost?" he asked the salesman.  "Anything from $2 to $2,000."  "Can I see the $2 model?" said the customer.  The salesman put the device around the man's neck, and said: "You just stick this button in your ear and run this little string down into your pocket."  "How does it work?" asked the customer.  "For $2, it doesn't work," said the salesman. "But when people see it on you, they'll talk louder."

Lead me not to temptation...For I can find it for myself!

  2. Nice when friends cheer up the day. The slate grey bush lines are always depressing this time of year, the stark reality of winter can’t be hidden. However they are same bush lines that cause such excitement just a few months down the road when we see tinges of green. Just like winter, spring too shall come.
