ROUNDED OUT THE DAY

A drizzly wet day but at least it wasn't freezing cold.  A drive down around Bayfield's harbor and a damp walk in the cemetery rounded out the day.

THE BOAT SLIPS ARE BEING TAKEN OUT OF THE RIVER TO BE STORED OVER WINTER
ONLY SEVEN OR EIGHT BOATS ARE LEFT IN THE WATER
WE HAVE PASSED OUR PEAK AUTUMN COLORS AND LEAVES ARE NOW FALLING

GROANER'S CORNER:((  My husband was building shelves in our bedroom and, intending to continue his work the next day, left some tools on my dresser, including a hammer, screwdriver, and chisel.  The following morning, while I was in front of the dresser combing my hair, my teenage daughter walked in.  “Hi, Mom,” she said, taking a look at the dresser. “Fixing your face?”

  2. Such beauty everywhere. Even the machine on the boat slips. And the first one is stunning. All those darks in front and then that amazing pink/red firing out behind.
