HAD TO PUSH HARD

A PRICKLY THISTLE ABOUT TO BLOOM
I had to get behind myself and push hard to break my routine of simply going home after our morning walk.  Under cloudy skies, Pheebs and I did make it over to the Hullett Marsh.

AMAZINGLY ENOUGH PHEEBS AND I MADE IT TO THE HULLETT MARSH THIS MORNING

I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE A FEW DANDELIONS STILL IN BLOOM
 BURDOCK
 TEASEL
A WELCOME DRINK IN THIS HOT AND HUMID WEATHER
 ON OUR WAY HOME
GROANER'S CORNER:((  I was driving my father and grandfather down a rough country road. My inexperience in handling Grandpa's four-wheel-drive vehicle made for a particularly bouncy ride.  Embarrassed, I offered a lame excuse, “The sun shadows through the trees make it hard for me to see all the potholes.”  “Don't worry,” Grandpa said. “You're gettin' most of ‘em.”

Eating greasy high cholesterol food gives me stage fright. I get butter fries in my stomach.

  2. Great marsh pic, and love the one of Pheebs drinking. What a cute nose and paws she has, no kidding. What a sweetie.
