OUR PARK'S RUMOR MILL IS NOW ON SPEED DIAL

RAINDROPS IN OUR FROGGY POND THIS AFTERNOON
Under cool cloudy skies, Pheebs and I did get some boots and paws on our gravely walking road this morning and popped a few sheep pics on the way home.

NOTICE THE TWO LLAMAS ON THE FAR SIDE OF THE SHEEP
AS SOON AS THEY SEE PHEEBS AND I STOPPED NEAR THE FENCE THEY IMMEDIATELY HEAD IN OUR DIRECTION
LLAMAS ARE OFTEN PLACED WITH SHEEP BECAUSE OF THEIR PROTECTIVE NATURE
BECAUSE THEY PERCEIVE US AS A THREAT THEY BEGIN TO POSITION THEMSELVES BETWEEN PHEEBS AND I AND THE SHEEP
THEY ARE NOW IN POSITION TO KNOCK THE ABSOLUTE STUFFINGS OUT OF ME IF I  WERE TO TRY TO CLIMB OVER THAT FENCE
I managed some more outside clean-up around the yard before the rains came and the rest of the day was spent inside.  On dreary days like this Kelly generally spends her time in the living room reading while I spend my time in the sunroom doing the same.  And it's usually the time I start on the day's blog and check on a few of the day's news headlines.

ALTHOUGH SLOW THIS YEAR OUR YARD IS 'SLOWLY' GREENING UP
The above note was on the chalkboard in our Park's mailroom this morning.  The rumor mill has been on speed dial for a while now and I think residents may be very close to an ignition point if the madness does not stop.  I hope this whole 'selling of the Park' issue can soon be resolved in some form of a meaningful and sensible manner.

Groaner's Corner:((  Congratulations my boy!" said the groom's uncle. "I'm sure you'll look back and remember today as the happiest day of your life."  "But I'm not getting married until tomorrow." Protested his nephew.  "I know," replied the uncle. "That's exactly what I mean."

  1. OK then. An emergency meeting. Whew. Well, that's not til tomorrow, so I guess it could be put off a bit. I do love llamas. Had some for neighbors once; they would jump the cattle guard easily. Even trained their 2 day old baby how to do it. They were nice guests. I'm a bit leery of an animal whose head is on eye level with me, but I was never treated rudely. But I didn't treat them rudely either.

  2. How wonderful to see sheep on your walk and photograph them to boot!
