DRESSED MYSELF ON THE WARM SIDE THIS MORNING

NOTICING MORE SIGNS OF AUTUMN THESE DAYS
Had to slide myself into a warm T-shirt this morning and then pop on a long sleeve shirt.  Donned a lite jacket before heading out the door.  Yes, it was a bit cool outside and with a breeze from the north, I was glad I dressed on the warm side for our morning walk.

IF YOU LOOK CLOSE YOU CAN SEE THE BEAN PODS
Our walking spot is right on the way to the Hullett Marsh so grabbing a Tim Hortons coffee in Clinton, that is where we headed.  A mighty fine sunny cool morning with not a cloud in the sky from horizon to horizon.

DRIVING ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF THE HULLETT MARSH
Parking the Jeep I saw 4 Blue Herons lift off from the water's edge in an area known as Whistler's Pool.  Aside from a few distant ducks there wasn't much of anything flying in the Marsh.  Saw one Monarch butterfly but it out monarched me and I didn't get a photo of it.  Clear overnight skies meant a heavy dew on the grass this morning so we ended up with some wet shoes and doggy paws.  Always so peaceful in the marsh.

I'M GLAD PHEEBS IS NOT A WATER DOG OR SHE WOULD BE RIGHT IN THERE

Home again it was another relaxing afternoon and I was able to resume a little outdoors project I had started a month ago before the hot weather rolled in.  Nice to get a few more outside things done.  I am not a big fan of leather furniture and never have been.  Leather is cold in the winter and I always have to have both my recliners covered with large comfy cozy blankets.  I took the blankets off the recliners back in late May and today, with cooler air upon us, I put the blankets back on the recliners.  I can now tip back in warm toasty comfort again.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A well-respected surgeon was relaxing on his sofa one evening just after arriving home from work. As he was tuning into the evening news, the phone rang. The doctor calmly answered it and heard the familiar voice of a colleague on the other end of the line.  "We need a fourth for poker," said the friend.  "I'll be right over," whispered the doctor.  As he was putting on his coat, his wife asked, "Is it serious?"  "Oh yes, quite serious," said the doctor gravely. "In fact, three doctors are there already!"

My boss calls me "the computer"... Nothing to do with intelligence, I go to sleep if left unattended for 15 minutes.
