THE MORE I READ THE MORE FASCINATING IT GETS

At 51F this morning I had to throw on a jacket and crank up the Jeep's heater for a bit.  Pheebs and I had us a nice brisk country road walk and then Jeeped ourselves around a few country blocks stopping for a couple pics here and there.  We were back home shortly after 10 and although there were things outside for me to do I could not seem to get myself interested in doing much with the exception of whacking some weeds.

WE HAVE CORNFIELDS IN OUR AREA THAT STRETCH OVER THE HORIZON
With cooler air now upon us, it makes being outside more pleasurable for me.  An afternoon walk around our Park's pond netted a few photos.  It was breezy and I was surprised at the number of butterflies in the air.

Just finished Debra Jordan-Kabaul's book Extraordinary Contact: Life Beyond Intruders.  Another remarkable story.  The more I read the more fascinating it gets.  My next read is a book by Bud Hopkins called Missing Time.

Kelly's mother is in the hospital undergoing tests and procedures.  She has had several blood transfusions.  Kelly called her this morning and her mother seems to be in good spirits and holding her own.  In this wondrous age of computers, it is amazing how fast Kelly gets all the medical updates and results of her mother's condition.  As soon as test results are posted, Kelly has those results on her computer.  She then passes them on to her brother and two sisters who live in the States of New York and Florida.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A man was looking to hire a driver for a bus tour business. Three men applied for the job.  He calls one into his office to interview him. The man says that he can put the wheels right on the edge of a bridge, drive, and not fall off. The employer is very impressed.  He calls another man in. This man says that he can put the wheels halfway off of a bridge, drive, and not fall off. The employer is again very impressed.  He calls the last man in. He says, "I heard what the other two guys said, and I don't think I could match them. I usually drive in the middle of a bridge."

“Your underwear is much too tight and very revealing,” I said to my wife.  She said, “Wear your own then.”

Adam and Eve had an ideal marriage. He didn't have to hear about all the men she could have married, and she didn't have to hear about the way his mother cooked.
