A FEW SATURDAY MORNING PHOTOS

THE FEDERAL COLUMBIA ARRIVING IN GODERICH'S HARBOR THIS MORNING
A VERITABLE TRAFFIC JAM OFFSHORE AS 3 LARGE FREIGHTERS WAIT TO ENTER THE PORT OF GODERICH...FIRST TIME EVER I HAVE SEEN 4 FREIGHTERS HERE ALL AT THE SAME TIME

GROANER'S CORNER:(( One day our physics professor was discussing a particularly complicated concept. A pre-med student rudely interrupted to ask "Why do we have to learn this stuff?"  "To save lives" the professor responded quickly and continued the lecture.  A few minutes later, the same student spoke up again. "So, how does physics save lives?" he persisted.  "It keeps the idiots out of medical school," replied the professor.

  1. Took me a minute, as the first photo was, what the heck. But then it all came clear. So the birds are out there too....coming in, taking off, or looking around. Think the weather has stacked those freighters up? Whatever, thanks for the photos!!

  4. Really like that 1st and last picture!!! How long did you have to wait for those birds to be just right? Ansel Adams said a great picture depends on where you were standing...

  5. About 4 seconds. They were just lucky shots as the birds happened to fly by when I was lining up a shot of the ship's stern. Yes, Ansel Adams was probably right.....depends on which direction you happen to be looking too:))
