POST NUMBER 4,1O2.....'MORE OF THE SAME'

Some posts flow easy and others not so much.  I do try to keep up with myself and leave some kind of record each day of what's going on in our lives here at the Bayfield Bunch but when uneventful days like today come along it's a real challenge not to make it just another day's slog through the same old daily stuff.
NICE MORNING ALONG GODERICH'S ST. CHRISTOPHER'S BEACH THIS MORNING
BIG TRUCKLOAD OF STRAW BALES HEADING DOWN THE ROAD
I GUESS SOME FOLKS JUST PARK WHEREVER THEY WANT TO
PROBABLY DECORATING FOR A SATURDAY AFTERNOON WEDDING
CAN YOU TELL PHEEBS ALWAYS GETS A SNACK AT GODERICH'S SOLO GAS BAR
Now having said that I can only leave you with more of the same again.  Jeep ride for Pheebs and I to Goderich and back complete with our usual harbor and beach sweep.  Home again I worked away at the van's exterior clean-up for a short while until about noon when it became too hot and miserably sticky for me to stay outside.  Came in the house and that was the end of another day.   Well anything interesting to write about that is.  There's a few medical things going on of course but I've probably been talking way to much about all that stuff lately so I'm making a conscious effort to keep a lid on that for awhile.  So I guess that's it for post number 4,102.....
GROANER'S CORNER:(( A man was walking home alone late one night when he hears a BUMP... BUMP... BUMP... behind him. Walking faster he looks back, and makes out the image of an upright coffin banging its way down the middle of the street towards him. BUMP... BUMP... BUMP... Terrified, the man begins to run towards his home, the coffin bouncing quickly behind him ... faster... faster... BUMP... BUMP... BUMP... He runs up to his door, fumbles with his keys, opens the door, rushes in, slams and locks the door behind him. However, the coffin crashes through his door, with the lid of the coffin clapping... clappity-BUMP... clappity-BUMP... clappity-BUMP... on the heels of the terrified man. Rushing upstairs to the bathroom, the man locks himself in. His heart is pounding; his head is reeling; his breath is coming in sobbing gasps. With a loud CRASH the coffin starts breaking down the door. Bumping and clapping towards him. The man SCREAMS and reaches for something heavy, anything .. his hand comes to rest on a large bottle of Robitussin. Desperate, he throws the cough syrup as hard as he can at the apparition... and... the coffin stops!!

  1. Know what you mean about finding something that's not the Same Old Same Old and we've only got 2801 Posts behind us. Besides we can say a silent prayer for those we know.
Be Safe and Enjoy Pheebs getting her treats.

    It's about time.

  2. May all your days be this uneventful. Any day you can dress yourself, eat and get out the door is an happy event. I know you will see something that makes an interesting picture. If not, Pheebs and Kelly and yourself make interesting photos. Got to love the randomness of peeling paint on the sheep's gate. Pheebs really looks excited for her treat. I journal and photograph daily activities and thoughts also. We share that in common. That is why I like reading your blog. The other day I was studying drawing the human body. I liked that photo you took of Kelly looking at her journal in the hospital. It was fun to try to draw her. Your life is reflected in my life! I like that.

  6. Isn't it funny how the dogs always remember where their treats are given to them.

  7. Yep not every day can be super exciting. We do need some mellow calm ones to know how to enjoy the great ones.
I plan to restart my dull blog next December as that will be a year after I shut down. I see a need to start again as I have trouble remembering what I was doing a year ago and I lost my interest in photos since I quit and it was a big hobby for me. Short breaks are OK as life is not always 'edge of the seat exciting'. Hopefully you will still enjoy what Zippy has been up to.

  8. You do an excellent job of meeting the challenge of daily posting! The ups and downs, the doldrums at times. That is how life is, and, because your posts reflect life, they make us think of you as family. Few people know me for very long without hearing about The Bayfield Bunch. If they are lucky, I even show them photos. Those typing fingers of yours are like a pebble in a pond. The waves reach all the way from Ontario to Texas. Please feel treasured. Fingers crossed re the health issues.
