WE HAVE KINDA PULLED BACK A BIT

Yet another beautiful quietly peaceful morning here in rural southwestern Ontario.  It's a long week-end in Canada as the country celebrates Dominium Day.
I DO LIKE THESE 'SMOKE' TREES
Refreshingly cooler air came in overnight and with a nice breeze this morning Pheebs and were able to get ourselves out for walk east of Goderich in some nice bug free air.  However not a long walk and as soon as I felt the humidity building we were back to the Jeep and headed for home.  Aside from trimming some shrubs late this morning I mainly took advantage of our cooler indoor air for the rest of the day and stayed inside.
MORNING'S TRAIL
We have kinda pulled back a wee bit from our smaller RV search.  With both our medical futures up in the air at the moment we figured we had better wait and see which way life is about to take us.  Wednesday we will be heading to London's University Hospital again where Kelly is scheduled for an MRI.  Both Kelly and I had a feeling quite awhile ago that it was very possible we both could be in for some medical challenges this summer as well as possibly this coming winter.  It was one of the deciding factors in the sale of our large 37' Class A Motorhome awhile back.  Oh the joys of aging eh!!

GROANER'S CORNER:(( You Might Be A Redneck If::
- You watch "The Dukes Of Hazzard" and have to find someone to explain it to you.
- When your wife walks in front of you it looks like two pigs fighting in a gunny sack.
- Your only excuse for smelling bad is it runs in the family.
- Your favorite fruit is chicken.
- You think those yellow traffic signs that say "Slow children at play" means the kids in the area are not too bright.
- At least one of the kitchen appliances on your front porch is more than forty years old.
- You've ever used a hangnail as a tooth pick.
-------------------------
- A waiter brings the customer the steak he ordered with his thumb over the meat."  Are you crazy?" yelled the customer, "with your hand on my steak?"  "What" answers the waiter, "You want it to fall on the floor again?"

  1. I can totally understand the medical issues. With all of Jim's problems, I'm not sure we'll ever be able to RV again. I wish both of you nothing but good news.

  7. I'll go with a "lighter comment". The kitchen appliance on the front porch had me laughing and laughing. We have no stove in the house kitchen. The stove is on the back deck. One day I hope that stove makes it to the kitchen. Your blog is always entertaining.
