NO ILL EFFECTS

Stepping out of the Jeep this morning about 8:30 at one of our favorite 'spots along the way' southeast of Bayfield I could tell it was going to be a humid day with temperatures already rising.  No point in stopping at any of our forest walk areas with the sultry temperatures already bringing out biting Deer Flies and hordes of Mosquitos.  Our Jeep ride was again a short one as Pheebs and I headed home for the cool comfort of our house.
SMELLED SO NICE STANDING HERE AT THE EDGE OF THIS NEWLY MOWN FIELD IN THIS MORNING'S STILL AIR

A sudden thunder storm came ashore later in the morning dumping a ton of rain on us and that had me quickly outside closing shed doors etc.  Kelly got caught in the downpour coming back from Goderich but made her way through.  Luckily the fast moving storm brought in some cooler air behind it and by mid afternoon we had a few short bursts of sunshine.

SCARED US UP A HERD OF TURKEY VULTURES
It's been well over 24 hours since my prostate biopsy and I'm happy to report there have been no ill or after effects.  No pain, no soreness, no infection, no nothing.  A welcome piece of luck indeed.
HAVING A LITTLE SNOOZE IN THE BACK SEAT WHILE DAD DRIVES
GROANER'S CORNER:((   A friend asked a gentleman how it is that he never married? Replied the gentleman, "Well, I guess I just never met the right woman. I guess I've been looking for the perfect one."  "Oh, come on now," said the friend, "Surely you have met at least one girl that you wanted to marry."  "Yes, there was a girl once. I guess she was the one perfect girl and the only perfect girl I really ever met. She was just the right everything and the perfect girl for me."  "Well, why didn't you marry her," asked the friend.  "She was looking for the perfect man," he said, "and I wasn't it."

- What's the difference between a vision and a sight? When my wife gets dressed up for a party she looks like a vision and when she wakes up in the morning she's quite  a sight!

  1. Never got the rain here but did cool down and warm right back up again. Glad you had no ill effects from the biopsy.

  4. Glad there were no ill effects from the biopsy. I wouldn't like that humidity either.

  5. Hooray no bad side effects. Nice farm pics. We are stuck inside with A/C on due to forest fire smoke that has settled over Anchorage.
