D'YA EVER WISH YOU HAD AND EASY TO USE 'DELETE' BUTTON IN YOUR HEAD??

A DAY WITHOUT COWS IS LIKE A DAY WITHOUT WOWS
With cool temps and cloudy skies for this long week-end's Saturday there will be a lot of disappointed beach goers, tourists, boat, and cottage owners.  No matter, at least it wasn't raining or snowing.
PHEEBS AND I CAME US ACROSS SOME TURKEY VULTURES ALONGSIDE THE ROAD
The furry Kid and I did get out for a short ride around Bayfield with a walk in the Bayfield Cemetery.  The lack of people and vehicles in downtown Bayfield was noticeable and as always the lack of people and noise in the cemetery is always greatly appreciated.
DID YOU NOTICE DOGGY'S NOSE??
'WHERE'S MY MOM' WHERE'S MY MOM'
'HEY I'M NOT THE KIDS MOM'
'I KNOW ME MOMS AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE'
'AHHHHHHHH'
We popped over to Richard and Gayle's this morning for coffee and Kelly was able to help Gayle with a little Kindle/Computer problem.  Richard and I of course were able to make even more progress on our ongoing quest to wrench sense out of all the insensible things in this world.
FIRST BOAT I'VE SEEN ON THE LAKE THIS YEAR
I NOTICED ALL THE BIG BAYFIELD BEACH BOULDERS WERE GONE
WONDER IF THAT COULD BE THEM DOWN THE BEACH THERE
YESSIREEEE THAT'S THEM ALRIGHT AND THEY ARE SHORING UP THE BANK BELOW PIONEER PARK
LOOKS LIKE A RELAXING MORNING FOR THE FISHERMEN OUT THERE ON BAYFIELD'S SOUTH PIER
Back home I spent most of the day inside.  The day's dullness failed to 'light my fire'. (one of my all time favorite tunes by The Doors)  Lots of little enjoyable projects I could have been doing but today just wasn't the day for any of them.  If I'm not in 'paint mode' I just ain't a gonna paint anything no how.  Fortunately one of my favorite 'go-to' TV stations AXS-TV happened to have the group Chicago featured today so I tipped back in my recliner and let all the good old memories roll through my mind.  I like when that happens:))
THIS MAYBE GIVES YOU A BETTER IDEA OF HOW I HAVE SHORTENED UP OUR RV PARKING SPACE

Twice watched Little Red's frantic antics to get up on the feeder but no matter what she tried she never made it.  She even climbed up to the top of a very high nearby Cedar tree to reconnoiter the situation.  Wished she would have made an attempt at the feeder though then I could have seen were the latest weak point in my new set-up is.  Must admit seeing her on the feeder Friday night came as a surprise.  Looked around on the ground for a small discarded parachute but didn't find one.  HOWEVER...….when we got up from supper and looked out the window there was Little Red on the feeder again.  I guarantee you this saga will continue!!!!
AGAIN TODAY LITTLE RED CONTEMPLATES THE POLE
I DON'T THINK SHE IS GETTING UP THE POLE BUT I DO THINK SHE JUST MIGHT BE MAKING A LOOOOOONG JUMP ONTO THE FEEDER FROM ONE OF THE SHRUBS OR TREES IN THE FRONT YARD
YA YA I KNOW,,,,,I'M KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON YOU TOO!!
Do you ever wish your brain had some kind of an easily accessible simple to use 'delete' button like a computer.  I, like probably many others sure do.  At this older stage of life now with so many memories behind me over the years I involuntarily but continuously embarrass myself with little ditties that come floating through my mind each and every day.  Hate when that happens and it's even more so now that I think with a different mind set and sense of values.  Things that seemed alright years ago now cause me to grimace when they pop into my mind.  Silly things, stupid things, things that shouldn't have been said and were.  Things that should have been said and weren't.  Things I didn't do and things I shouldn't have done but there they are all lined up in my mind waiting for their cue to pop out and remind me of embarrassing shenanigans from different eras.  Memories from my drinking years are especially bothersome and it serves no purpose to remember them anymore at this point.  But there they are stuck in my mind, cued up and ready to go.  Yes, I sure wish I had an easy to use 'delete' button in my head.  And I bet most of you do too:))
GROANER'S CORNER:(( An Amish Farmer walking through his field notices a man drinking from his pond with his hand. The Amish Farmer shouts: "Trinken Sie nicht das Wasser, die Kuehe und die Schweine haben hineingeschissen!" (Which means: "Don't drink the water, the cows and pigs crap in it!") The man shouts back: "I'm a Muslim, I don't understand your gibberish. Speak English, Infidel!" The Amish Farmer shouts back in English: "Use two hands, you'll get more!"

Teacher: "Kids, what does the chicken give you?"
Student: "Meat!"
Teacher: "Very good! Now what does the pig give you?"
Student: "Bacon!"
Teacher: "Great! And what does the fat cow give you?"
Student: "Homework!"

  1. Those same thoughts pester me all day and I don't know where they come from .Regrets have no purpose in our lives except to torture us, so when I recognize a regret, I mentally jump to a happy memory in my life and there are millions of them. Regrets are not allowed!!!

  2. When those thoughts enter our minds we do like Gumo and replace them with Happy Memories like the day we got married.
Eventually Red will scratch that Pipe enough to be able to climb it. When that happens put a Sheet Metal Duct over it so that won't happen again.
Be Safe and Enjoy the warmer weather heading your way.

    It's about time.

  3. Wonder how long it will take her to figure out she can get the top off the cylinder bird feeder she is sitting on top of

  5. Oh yes, there are some things I've done/said in life that I wish I could just delete! Mike's dad Nat fought with a squirrel on a bird feeder for the longest time and when he finally defeated the squirrel he told us it made him sad--
